The doesn't have any features that tie it to the main frame rails. I ordered the C4 Fab frame brackets and got them after 3 weeks: https://overlandoutfitters.ca/produ...-support-brackets-2016?variant=44119200432351

The All-Pro bumper structure is closer to the frame studs, so I had to trim about 3/16" from the C4 bracket flange to clear the bumper welds:

The brackets test-fitted well after modification. I don't have front shock remote resis, one fewer complication:

Rattlecanned with Tremclad primer and semi-gloss paint:

Installed with longer 1/2"-13x4" stainless bolts and nyloc nuts:

I can tell you the fact you're here, you have already got the bug lol. Trails around camp will be fairly easy, a stock truck will handle things no problem. Everyone there will guide you on what you should and shouldn't do but that will depend on your tolerance for damage. Do you have any skid plates?

They don't last as long I found

At this point I’m just allowing myself to consider things that are dual purpose - stronger aftermarket bumpers and better lighting are highly useful in daily driving activities. Once I get wanting the real overlandy shid then I’ll know I’m in trouble lol. So no, no skid plates yet, just the clunky stock one

Pft no take backs on picture requests!93872211-5E38-472E-829C-8D5B3AF06095.jpg24086B10-05E1-4F61-826A-CB4FC5CFA401.jpg
Keep in mind I just bought it so I haven’t had the chance to do anything good to it yet. The brakes were all messed up in every way, it needs a new Tbelt and water pump, my steering rack was toast and it has a torn CV boot, so some bigger maintenance stuff which I’m trying to get sorted so I can join in on the weekend. Fingers crossed
The lift was installed by the guy before the guy I bought it from - and the guy I bought it from was not mechanically inclined (usually a red flag but the truck is in really nice shape and runs great). So Im trying to figure out what alls been done to it - it’s got bilsteins but I don’t know what they are or what else is going on, clearly lifted and has spacers. Just learning as I go. I’ve got an older awd bmw 3 series so I’m used to that platform and this is new to me. If anyone knows what wheels these are also - are they a Toyota oem wheel off of something? I don’t really like them that much and kind of want to find a set of steelies. Sorry for rambling :p
