Looking at 255/75/17 KO2’s for a 2023 bone stock TRD Sport. Will they fit with no rubbing with the stock mud flaps still on. Or should I play it safe on 245/75/17s?

Yes, 245s will be just fine with stock flaps. Can even go 255/80/17, but tires might rub on stock mudflaps.

FWIW I’m running 255/80/17 and they don’t rub flaps at full stuff.

    BTW, I don’t think 245/75/17 exists.

No one can guarantee you that your oversized tires are going to fit. A few years ago when I read those threads I felt it was all I needed to know that there was a really good chance my 255/85r16’s were going fit without anything more than maybe an alignment to push the tires forward. And that’s exactly how it turned out.

Odd size for sure lol but for some reason they’re more readily available than the 255’s in my area in the two tires I’m debating between.

They will fit fine, I have mud flaps and I am running 255/75R17 on stock Sport wheels. They're barely closer to the body than the stock tires were. They do not rub on bumps while turning or anything.

The SEMA wheels did though. This is why I like the Sport and OR wheels, they can do larger tires better than the SEMA wheels can.

There are two huge threads of guys talking about fitting skinny 33’s on stock wheels with no modifications plus a zillion other threads. Your situation is no different. 3rd gen Tacomas are all pretty much the same. You can do it! :)

Yes but the more and more I read those I lean towards your logic of just saying F it and pulling the trigger and hoping for the best lol.

Meh. I thought the SEMAs looked way too bland. Gray wheels on my gray truck made the whole truck look like a giant gray blob. I much prefer the sports for some contrast. And because they fixed the fitment issues. To each their own.
