Thats a nice looking bug guard, how much paint has it rubbed off the hood so far?

I use the weathertech bug and wind sheild its low profile and i don't hear any noise from it.

 

Is there a clear UV coating that easily can be applied over bed liner spray? It always fades over time. Just curious.

Nice hot wheels find and installing this Stant Locking fuel cap from O’Reillys.

Did Lots of research on locking caps and was on the hunt for this specific Stant cap. Hopefully it won’t trigger a check engine light. Reviews say it works great

 

Good question, I am not sure. But I figure the fading of the plastic will match as they age. Plus I can always add another coat of bedliner to the plastic step as well.

I got a blue Hot Wheels truck from Santa last year. I took it as a hint from my wife I was liking my truck too much. Unfortunately Hot Wheels doesn't make a Lunar Rock one.
For that I'd have to follow the lead of the member here with the mini-me and micro-me trucks (and I'm not artistic enough for that).

 

After three fill-ups, I figured I could come up with something. Was considering to apply some 3M paint protection film where the gas cap would be hanging. This was quicker.

Put the plastic leash in the alligator clips that hold the fuel door shut.

 

They looks great. Does the airbag light come ON? How much do they cost? Thanks for sharing.

 

Did you have to send the OEM Audio+ amp back to them for re-programing? Upgrading the screen will be my future mod. I haven't decide which one yet. Either this setup or the Stinger.

 

New shoes. Be easy on me. Yes, they're the ones that come from the factory on current models, but I wanted to give them a fair shake since I mostly drive on the highway anyway. Definitely a lot smoother than my Cooper AT3 4S tires were. Then again, those were a bit more aggressive and had 85k miles on them.

 

I found a custom silver painted one to match my Taco on eBay.

Nice die-cast truck!

The search for the STANT locking gas cap was enduring...the brands from Autozone, NAPA and Advance Auto all put on the CEL.

I was able to get one online from O'Reilly's in VA. You should see an "S" on the side as seen in these photos.

I've had this cap for over a year now with no faults on the instrument panel.

 

I originally ordered the same Cap on Amazon and what I received was a “motorad”, which I retuned immediately.

Hopefully no lights come on with this one.

 

I have the Weathertech with no issues. But I am a Granpa lol but nobody knows it when I'm driving down the road unless I lower my dark tinted windows.

 

I need someone to convince me not to start the headlight swap at 6pm on this Wednesday evening. I'm staring at them in my living room and going nuts lol

Not really concerned with any particular part of the install, other than the patience involved in preserving clips.

 

Really depends on when you turn into a pumpkin.
I beat the clock and did mine in 3 hrs. Would have taken significantly less time if I was stock and hadn’t had to drop a 175 lb bumper… Also replaced 6 t-taps with heat shrink and wrapped my tss sensor in that time.
