Does anyone know an OEM part number or another suitable replacement for the little rubber stops in the fuel door? Evidently both of mine evicted themselves and now the door rattles pretty bad driving down the road. Thanks in advance.

    Brand new.

    Can I ask a question.
West is the bolt pattern of a Tacoma. How do I determine what my wheel width is. I know the diameter is 16”. But I see all these things like 16x8 I don’t understand.

Did you change out the transfer case oil too? Didn’t realize there was a Canadian counterpart to the California Four Wheel Drive Association, very cool! Get the same type of aluminum badge every year with renewal with member since…..also a member of CORVA -California Off Road Vehicle Association. Both advocate to keep trails open for OHV use. CORVA’s slogan is Protecting Public Land FOR the People Not FROM the People.

No, just the front a rear diff's. Transfer case at 60K. All subjective with what your comfortable with. I researched lots on this.

This is an awesome thread. Use it as guide and do what your comfortable with. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-maintenance-maps-get-300k-miles.789809/
Many other sources and opinions out there too.

    4WDABC
has been advocating since 1977 as a non-profit. Over-landing and back country use has exploded in our area. Nice to have advocacy, education and special events like back country clean-up's. Especially the education and advocacy part. Wheeling wisely, treading lightly, keeping it clean out there.

Thanks for the link. I did all 3 at 32k just because I go off-road every chance I get.

That’s awesome, Cal4Wheel and CORVA do the same with regular events and educational programs and clean up events.

Hey, congrats! Great association. I had a hard look at what they stood for before committing. Was very pleased at what they were all about on many levels. We do lots of back country, ghost town and abandon mine exploring. Turns out the association is right up our alley.

Thank goodness for these off-road associations/advocacy groups. If it became the wild west out there I'm sure it would be all shut down.

Agreed! I always pack everything out even stuff left by others. Still don’t understand why people would just leave their trash behind.

It does give me something to start with. Its seems a pain in the behind to get the cover off. But its worth it if its gonna fix the leakage.

I have a hoist at work Im thinking of playing with that to help me get it off.

    thanks bud

I think some people are just plain lazy and only care about themselves. I have some family members like that and they tend to be loud mouth know it alls who always have others picking up after them and supporting them.
