Hey Connecticut, our backs hurt

Back pain sucks ,I know the feeling . Every disc in my back is only a third of the thickness it should be with multiple discs bulging and quite a few bone spurs . As I get older it gets worse . Never any back surgery but a steroid shot in my SI joint last December helped a lot with the lower back pain .

 

If you're not taking a Tumeric supplement, start.
Natural anti-inflammatory and has helped me and several of my friends

 

Where would I find that? And do you recommend a specific one?

 

They're all similar, dont sweat the brand. Pharmacy, grocery store, Amazon...easy to find.

I might have to try that as well. Not just for my lower back pain which is intermittent but also lots of other chronic pains, leg, foot, shoulder...

 

Started noticing my wheel bearings might be shot again or at least starting to fail. OEM lasted 130k miles. Second set 121k miles. Cost me just over a grand last time. Debating doing it myself with prepressed hubs. Think someone on here offered the service for like $450 with trade in of old hubs

 

Made some PT appointments.

First one is next Monday @ 12. That's the first they had that worked for me.

At least I'll be getting the process started, and on the road to not letting this shit happen anymore.

 

I went with these sold by @05Taco4x4 here on the forum. He presses Koyo (iirc) bearings into generic hubs. Happy with mine so far.

Tumeric seems to work for everyone. Except me. Tried adding it to my life daily for 3 months. Nada.
For whatever reason, celery seed works for me. If i stop & think about my aches, they are there - but on celery seed I don't think about the aches. Somehow it pushes the aches off into some sub-basement level of my brain. It's completely forgotten & gone unless I somehow wander down to basement level 12 & open that door.
As my Dr. said - I've never heard of that, but if it works for you - keep doing it.

Always try to go the "natural" route first. Turmeric ftw. Its helped me, my gf, and my dog even. Also cant stress the importance of PT. It really does help.

We started taking glucosamine chondroitin for joint health after the veterinarian prescribed it for our golden retriever. Saw how much it helped him and we started

 

Does a lot for my knees in the winter

 

Some room for improvement on this system, but it got the job done with minimal effort. Tent is off for the winter and headed to the basement for safe keeping from critters, uv, and the cold.

Busy day today. It got cold and dark fast so wrapped up early. Wires are messy and need some tidying up. Battery needs a tie down. Small finishing things but the second battery is in!
