This kit is on sale on Amazon right now, regularly $46.99, now $34.99 with an additional 35% off and free next day shipping. I paid just over $24. I needed another kit for my Tacoma, thanks @RIX TUX for the recommendation!

Y'all's first snowfall this fall? I grew up in the mountains of Western Virginia, we used to get snow all the time between late October and late April. We had a blast playing in the snow, riding the fire trails all night, I miss those days. That's when I had my '82 that's in my profile pic. Miss the snow, but definitely don't miss the cold!! I hate cold weather with a passion now!! Give me low 80's, sunshine, flip flops and shorts anyday!!

They did pump them up about 3-4 pounds more than I normally run. I did the chalk test and mine needs 30 PSI in all tires to maintain proper ground contact. They left them at 34-35 cold and for me, that is too much. But that may have contributed to the new calculation of my mileage as well.

Has anyone had a Tune done to their trucks and if so is it worth it? What brand did you use?
    Did you notice any difference?

Things I wished I did a long time ago, installed the Rok Block tailgate gap cover and installed pluck foam to organize the center console.
    IMG20231103090828.jpg IMG20231103085831.jpg

Did my 20K service recently and installed the ValvoMax oil drain valve. Should make oil changes easier and cleaner now.
    IMG20231016172423.jpg

Also upgraded my wife's Tacoma's tweeters (DS18) and speakers (Rockford). They were a bit of a pain to install since they didn't fit in the provided mounts out of the box. Made a big difference in sound though, she loves it. Sprayed some Woolwax inside the doors while I had the speakers out too.

The 1st time you pull this off it feels like your pulling the entire roof into the cab but it does come off. Any subsequent removals are much easier. I've pulled mine of three times and no clips have broke.

The only difference between all the levels (lite to spicy and everything in-between) is the throttle curve. That's it.

Sorry to burst yo bubble. lol.

I have the KDMAX as well and I hate the jerkiness. I might make the switch too but it sucks having paid already for a tune. Thinking about just getting what I need to do it myself. In case I change my mind again lol.

Alex at AY Tuning only charged me $100 to switch. He said I could switch back to the KDMAX and he would give me my money back after a test drive if I wanted. It was a no brainer IMO.
