Those look nice! I'm ridiculous hard-core when it comes to stock, but I would def consider those. I always thought the 2nd gen refresh LED tail lamps were lacking.

Any chance of posting a pic of them lit up?

Outside lower corners are too rounded, they might fit but wouldn’t be the same shape.

Thanks for the update. I'll keep digging for a solution that will work. I had the stick-on angled one there, but it took off and disappeared to places unknown a few days ago. They seem to last about a year and the adhesive gives up.

Sure can. I'll have to take some shots of a brick on the brake, reverse, and turn signal/hazards. But here's with the headlights on.
    upload_2023-11-10_23-46-56.png
The reason I liked these are that the turn and hazard lights switch to amber (plus they're sequential for cool guy points). Always like dedicated amber vs all red turning and braking.

I’m using the spottermirror version made for Tacomas. It has the semi independent convex mirrors on the bottom outside instead of the top like yours(both flat and convex sections move with the motor but the convex part can be angled differently). Also available in a heated version and there’s a thread on adding that feature.

Thank you for posting the pics. They look nice: not overdone. I half-jokingly offered to swap mine for the ones on my Son's 2005, (I like them better) and he politely declined. lol

Finished installing the transmission skid and catalytic converter shields today. Hardest part was reaching the nut on top of the frame of the driver's side to tighten it. Very pleased with the quality of the skids, how they look, and now having some piece of mind. Definitely recommend RCI if you're on the fence about what to get. I also plan on coating my undercarriage in the near future before it gets too bad under there.

Pismo beach sand dunes and hanging out at the beach. Perfect weather.

I’m surprised. I’m at about 3-4/32 of tire depth, and I was worried. But deflate down to 10psi and not a issue on 265-70-17.

Even though I am in New Mexico it still gets yearly under carriage care. Complete cosmoline coating front to rear.

Air filters, oil filter, oil change, power steering fluid change, cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body, greased my UCAs and rear driveshaft, swapped in a new clockspring (surprisingly easy to do - made me wish I'd done it two months ago), and would have installed more spacers on my bumpstops, if it weren't for two Aces, two O'Reillys, an Autozone, and an independent auto parts supplier not having M10-1.25 socket head bolts stocked. Going to have to order longer bolts from McMaster-Carr, I guess.

Replaced the windshield wiper assembly from RockAuto. My wipers would not work sometimes unless I pushed them and kept on the 2nd setting. 20231111_123239.jpg

Beginning the process of "sound proofing" the cab. Installed 1/4" Dynaliner (CCF) in the passenger door card this evening, dynamat the door tomorrow.

Been thinking about this. How'd it work out sound quality wise?

Lifted my truck cap off the truck to seal the front rail. Like so many I leaked from the front drivers side corner. After inspecting I could see light coming in from that front corner. After lifting the cap I could see that the original seal was deformed a bit, and there is a 1/4" ledge from the front rail to the drivers side rail cap that the seal didn't fill. Added a new front rail seal to the front rail and a few smaller peices. Chance of first rain of the winter this Wednesday so :fingerscrossed:.

We'll see how it goes. Since I'm dumb and lazy I'm going to be stretching it out over parts and days after work. The floor, doors, back wall and roof are getting Dynamat xtreme. I'm adding 1/4" Dynaliner to the front and AC door plastics as well as Boom Mat speaker baffles. The back wall is getting 1/2" Dynaliner. I'm still on the fence if I will do MLV but that will be somewhat easy to add later if I want to.
