Do you have front Bilstein 5100s with a stock rear? 1.75 or 2.5? Pics please!

2005 PreRunner. Here I am at 2.5" in front, stock in rear, sitting on some modest 265/70 Goodyears. I love the way it looks and rides! No vibrations or issues.. I haven't been past 85mph.

Will I be sorry I went all the way up to 2.5?? I don't think so... but I want some opinions. Tacosupreem? Let's hear em!

Also attached is my alignment sheet from the shop.

You raaang! Haha!!! It might be a little stiff. I recomend you drive it awhile and see if it wanders or feels squirrly on the highway. If it does then your probably gonna wanna either drop it below 2" or get some new uca's. I drove mine awhile with my alignment less than ideal and it drove me nuts! I guess it doesn't seem to bother some guys, but it did me!

    Thanks Taco!

I know what you mean about the caster still being a bit off.. I was actually told that would probably be the case if set all the way to 2.5"... by my friend who's taco we ripped the shox from..

When it's time to invest in some fresh rubber, The bilsteins might be set back towards 2". This being said... I also thing a pair of aftermarket UCA's is definitely my next investment.. I'm going to check out Total Chaos of FatBob's garage when I have some extra cash.

How much did y'all pay for your Bilsteins installed?
I just got a quote for a Toytec 3"(Spacer, AAL, and rear shocks) and they said $550, just labor, not parts.

If the bilsteins set at 2.5" are cheaper installed, I'll definetely go with them.

I would imagine that the place that quoted you that would probably give you a similar number for installation of the billies and an aal.

both involve taking apart the front coilover assembly and dropping the rear axle.

Thanks. Is this resonable? That included an alignment.

Would an 08 sit level with the front to 2.5" and a 2" rear AAL? Would it be leaning a lot with the front at 1.75" and rear 2" AAl? I really want to avoid the front being higher than the rear which is why I am leaning towards the 2" AAL.. and its more lift!

So add Billsteins all around and an AAL and one is all set? Nothing else needed?

I put the diff drop in too. I think its only needed if you have a 4x4. You may need a sway bar relocate, i didnt with stock springs. also ucas are recommended.

Correct. No need for the diff drop on a 4x2. *there is no front diff to drop on a 4x2*

Hi,I really like the way yours look,i have a 3 inchs lift in mine with coilspacers(rides like crap,i hate that, very stiff and not safe while off roading) and i'm looking forward to replace it for a set of billys in front and the rear as well ,I just would like to know your opinion about how does the ride feels after you did yours, how's the performance on&off road, would you recommend it,any advice will be very welcome, thanks!!

i love these bilsetins they have made the ride on and off road 100 times better plus all of my stock shocks were blown. for 300 dollars you cant beat it plus you can get a lift on the front without having to but new springs. i cant say one bad thing about them. im going to order some ebiach coils tonight so that i can get a full 3 inches. good luck with your decision. if you have any more questions just let me kno
