Thanks for the link. I'm not far from New Market. When I have the budget I'm considering getting some armor. Is there a good thread for armor that won't kill me financially?

I would check the classifieds or ask on the NOVA thread if someone has any local leads for 2nd hand stuff.

no problem. As far local wheeling goes: Peters Mill used to be nice but has become all rocky lately; we can go one evening or weekend.

I was looking at vids on that but I am reluctant to hit anything rocky before putting some armor up. I'll hit you up when she gets some!

    Welcome!
There's two guys over your way in the New Market/Broadway area. Both have tacomas and one works at the old French's Auto Parts building on rt.11 just south of New Market. They bought my bed rack and spare tire mount a while back. Real nice guys and they wheel & camp a bit. Can't remember their names (Patrick & Jordan maybe?)and I don't think they are on TW, but just run by the old French's garage and, if the tacoma's parked out front, go in and introduce yourself.
As far as wheeling Peter's Mill, you shouldn't need any armor...seriously you coukd do that trail in a subaru. But it's a fun drive and a good trail to cut your teeth on if you're new to 4 wheeling

Thanks for the welcome! It would be nice to get some advice from some experienced locals. I have some projects I need to do like putting in fog lamps. SRs don't come with those haha
Interested in mods if they are reversible in the state of an emergency if I need to sell it.
Thanks for patience with a noob.

Correct about noob status. Was there and prob still am on that level. Will need to hit taskers also soon:

So maybe a weekend trip to roll through Peters Mill and then across to Taskers is needed.

It’s definitely growing, we’ve got 4 stop lights now and a traffic circle!

I recently bought a used 2019 Taco and I’m new to the 3rd generation I had a few 1st generation and 2nd generation tacos and I loved them. I was wondering if anyone notices a difference in driving the truck on windy days?
I know that driving most vehicles on windy days can obviously make some differences.
