I used 1/4-20x1" long carriage bolts. Probably could have used 3/4" ones but it wasn't worth the drive to Lowes or Home Depot. I also ran a nice bead of silicone around the base of each bolt before I installed the washers. I will definitely be adding struts pretty soon and I definitely like the idea of the rubber mat in the bottom. I did keep the foam and as soon as I get everything loaded into it I'll cut it up to take up any unused space.

my teenager has been driving my truck regularly. As is typical for these 2011s, my headlights are all hazy and the daytime driving lights have burned the lens, too.

then I drove it last week and notice that my not-immaculate-bumper had a pushed-in impact on the right side, and the headlight lens had a scrape.

i didnt chew her ass, since the bumper already had scratches when I bought it
from my uncle, and the headlight assemblies needed replacing anyways.

i bought TYR assemblies from RockAuto for $62ea , vs. OEM $300 ea. Just In Case she hits something again. :D

the only issue I had with the TYR was the little side marker light housing was too big to fit in the harness plug. I just used my oems

Were the plugs actually bad at 47k miles. I have 87k on my stock 2008 plugs and the truck runs like new. I replaced the stock plugs at 140k on my 2012 before my son bought it from me. Those had quite a healthy gap but the truck wasn't misfiring. It was down on power before replacing the plugs, pcv, and cleaning the MAF and throttle body. Just seems like replacing plugs twice in 80k miles is excessive..

I wouldn't say that I could tell you if the plugs were bad at 47k or the second set were bad at 32k.
But I would bet a dollar that if you replaced your original plus at 87k, you might say that new plugs make
your truck run more like new than the 87k plugs.

Probably depends on how the truck is used, hauling, towing, passing on hills, freeway on-ramp acclerations, or teenager driving. probably going to be alot more #roms and spark plug firings...

To me, spark plugs are cheap and the replacement isn't too dificult... I don't see a huge savings in time or money trying to stretch out $40 in spark plugs and 1-2 hours of labor from every 2 years to every 4 years.

Now the $62 (even x2 at $124) headlights and 2-3 hours replacement was something i should've done at 47k, too! the amount of headlight on the road is crazy and the truck looks like its not a 2011 anymore

If you’re lucky, your unit might be listed here. Look at the name on the main module of your alarm, should have a name or a model number.

For those interested, over a year ago I replaced the bulbs that illuminate the AC switch cluster and I replaced it with some bulbs I found online. This morning I started my truck up and noticed that the same light was burnt out. 14 months isn’t as good as I had hoped to get from them, but it was better than others had experienced.
