Will a 3rd Gen tailgate fit a 2nd Gen box?

Will a 3rd Gen driver seat fit a 2nd Gen?

Will 3rd Gen bed side sheet metal fit a 2nd Gen bed?

Asking in case I can't find 2nd Gen stuff to fix my truck.

The seat will fit but if yours have airbags there’s no way to get them to work. If your 06 doesn’t have them you’ll just have to swap the latch piece from your truck to the new seat.

youd have to swap the entire bed

or try car-part.com and find what you need. I found a door locally there as well as on facebook marketplace. Put in the effort to get the desired results

The 06 only has steering wheel and pass side dash airbags.
"Latch piece" ? What are you referring too?

I've been checking local junk yard websites as well as the internet. What I find so far is over the top prices for used or out of stock internet. I will check Marketplace. I always forget about that one.
As I've been laid up since the accident I really have nothing else to do after dealing with insurance companies and lawyers.

Where you seatbelt buckles into. Not sure the technical name for it. I found a really nice set of black 3rd gen seats on car-part but never bought them due to the airbag issue. Since you don’t have them you’re good to go.

you might get lucky on marketplace. I've been hunting for drivers side doors (front and rear). Finally come across a white door for the front, $150 cash money.... Just need the rear. I can find every color except white or the seller is a flake

not going to lie, but I would do a 2nd to 3rd gen conversion. I like the 3rd gen look a little more but the mechanicals of the 2nd gen I trust more. Props to that posts documentation for hosting the photos on this site instead of externally as well.
