Favorite Whiskey?

TBH I enjoyed the Elijah Craig Barrel Proof more but this was still very good.

I have a batch 12 that I haven't yet open. How much you like it compared to the Single Barrel/SmB

 

I would say I enjoyed the SmB more, then the SB and, the BP the least. Which was very disappointing with the price point and I prefer to drink BP. The others were just an enjoyable drink. Mine was batch 12 as well.

 

Where did you find them all at?

 

I found a liquor store in Lakewood WA. that resets their allocation list on the 1st. I was there on the 2nd and was #5 on the list. They have contacted me every week with something I want but my budget only allows me to get certain bottles.

 

I've got a few extra OBSQ's if you needed one.

 

I stopped at a couple Safeway stores, the McChord class 6, and Total Wine by the mall when I was there in Oct, but nobody had anything noteworthy.

 

Wait a week and see if it changes. I find the EHT BP tend to really open up after the first few pours and a few weeks. The neck pour is deceiving.

 

I think the SiB has to be a SP from a reputable store. Kind of my fear about the BP too. EHT is already so good at 100p

 

Have you opened one yet?

The ones I tend to be after are the O and V yeast strains (fruit variations) but K is good too. The Q strain is floral which tends not to be my thing. The F strain is herbal which is especially not my thing.

 

more details on this? you make your own alcohol or do you buy clear whiskey?

 

I have never bought more wiskey to stare at ever. Went to an even yesterday where you had to open your purchase, so I opened a rock hill farms and didn’t take a swig…still going strong

 

I took a new make smoked red corn whiskey and experimented.

I was ay Costco yesterday and there wasn't much to see. I did notice the limit to 1 bottle and wonder if this is something special? At $240 a bottle it better be damn good!
