Installed TRD Pro skid, with a twist. Had previously installed Talons Garage cat protector which uses the same mounting holes as the 'secondary' splash guard rear 12mm bolts. The cat protector uses a thick spacer to keep it from rubbing the underside of truck. I used the Talons proprietary security h/w at these mounting points which are longer than the OEM due to the added plate/spacer thickness. This also required removing provided skid hardware from these mounting holes (rear most) as they are not long enough to accommodate added thickness of cat protector.
Note 1 - This applies to '20 TRD OffRoad trim level
Note 2 - I was using my Race Ramps to give me some room to work under vehicle. My garage concrete apron is on a slope so when it is on ramps the vehicle is almost perfectly level. I do this because while I had splash guard removed I also changed the oil/filter (10K) and did the front diff lube service. Front diff was definitely overkill but not wanting to remove Pro skid later I went ahead and did the service. Also replaced the front diff drain plug with the 90341-24016 Lexus plug. That bitch was tight. While up on the ramps, vehicle was in gear (6M) parking brake was on, and both rear tires were chocked front and back.
    So procedure goes like this:
    1. Remove primary and secondary (front/rear) splash guards. Throw splash guards in recycling bin. Retain rear proprietary h/w at cat protector mount position.
    2. Remove appropriate 17mm hardware at Pro skid mount locations. There are a ton of YT vids that show where these bolts are.
    3. I used my Craftsman motorcycle jack to hold Pro skid in position to start rear 12mm cat protector/Pro skid proprietary security bolts. Stack goes like this: vehicle surface, Pro skid, cat spacer, cat protector, large flat washer, security bolts.
    4. Position Pro skid (still on jack) and start remaining 17mm hardware (4) provided with Pro skid.
    5. Torque 17mm to 33ftlb. 12mm to 21ftlb (using security bolt bit).
Clean and put away tools. Back down from ramps and wash driveway. Done.
I did not use thread locker on any of the mounting bolts so I will check periodically.
BTW In a previous post I sort of slammed Talons for a design issue with the 1st Gen 'wings' they provided with the cat protector. But as far as the protector itself goes that thing is a beast as it is not only a cat protector but also a skid plate. I had sort of forgotten how robust that thing is.

I have had a valvomax on my wife’s Subaru Crosstrek for several years. It has worked great! It makes oil changes quick and clean. I put the front wheels on ramps and have plenty of room to drain the oil directly into my used oil jug.

I've read FF is a lanolin base also PB Blaster Surface Shield. Probably the same as Woolwax?
There are YouTube videos comparing them.

Wish I’d never done the gas tank fill mod. Can’t seem to get it right. Within a day or so I find the needle has moved off F. I’ve even tried different filling stations. Leave it at the airport for a few days and that seems to delay things but not for long.

2 hours on a valve cap? You are a very patient person. You probably fish too.

    thx for the undercarriage advice.
did a few things today as well, got my replacement knobs on (terrible pic i know)- great feeling knobs and the bigger size is very nice, the back plastic was a little yellowed and they dont light up blue quite as much as expected, but they are an upgrade
got the "glare blockers" put on the license plate lights, definitely helps and looks cool when they are lit up red,
garmin mini 2 installed, with dongar adapter, havent checked it out much tho,
and my favorite, got these TufSkinz grill letter accents put on, really love the look they add to the grill

lots of good stuff on etsy

Will do. They’re solid. Really heavy but solid. I was worried about the 85#/slider but I read that most are about 60-75#. They’re super robust. Installed alone with some jack stands, floor jack and some patience.

Nice. Yeah, patience is definitely required, but it will definitely pay off in the long run.
