    Could be all wrong but isnt this just a single belt serpentine setup?? Thats all i have on my 2015.

    Haha no it’s 3 belts. I just learned my lesson. I had another vehicle in mind. But the 5vz-fe diagram he posted is correct.

    Yeah you’re in a first gen forum. This really diverged from the initial power steering pump post but that can be how these things go. I’m curious how/if the water pump is affected by *any* of the serpentine belts now based on that diagram.

    3rz to 2Rz bebuilt block and new heads
    To get that idle bolt out, you'll probably have to remove the ac mount bracket to get to the back side of it.....

    that one bolt has been in the threads here many times.....

    If your ac is not working....it might be a good idea to leave that belt off...
    if those compressor bearings seize......that would be bad......unnecessary risk...

    I now see how that bolt snapped, as the tension bolt to adjust the radiator is on the verge of snapping (twisting in a way a screw shouldn't, oldddddd). I'm going to buy some anti-sieze or something after work, and scour forums for the part
    The problem lead to more problems and I'd rather keep it all in one place for future Google searches.
    This seems to match my issue, but it seems the thread died.

    It was a wild ride, but my power steering is fixed and silent! It just needed a good flush.
    Using the Timmy video method, I initially routed the tubing backwards and shot the bolt out at supersonic speeds.
    A/C belt removed for now, that's a problem for a different paycheck.

    I guess so? I didn't replace the pump and just gave it a violent flush, so I guess it just needed a little love ;)
    I'm guessing it hadn't been touched before I bought it at 90k miles.

    Can't say I recommend this... my engine bay smelled of trans fluid for weeks.
    All that pressure ended up causing a leak in my rack and pinion, and I had it replaced.
    No further issues.
