Haha their ineptitude is what put me off their channel. Too painful. Driver error broke that front end.
Good to hear that turbo spool up just before it overtorques the front end though.

That'd be a drive, but if @FastEddy59 had a canoe and portage to nippissing he could float down taking the same route as that little carved canoe movie of my youth produced by the national film board...

Or lemme Google that, cuz now I'm curious...

    Edit: found it

    It's 28 mins but a cool story

If it ain't broke, fix it until it is. Put an oil catch can JLT P/N 3107D-B in the 4Runner. Installation following the JLT video is fairly straightforward, though the bracket was digging into the VSV vacuum hose. I added some plastic split loom as chafe guards.

    [IMG] [IMG]

The mounting location isn't as tidy as the 2GR version, due to heater hose routing, but emptying the can is easier.

I pretty much copied the 2gr version and used some random can from Amazon. It’s doing its job so far.

    ^One man, one jar

You'd still need to come up with a baffle arrangement under the metal cap. Otherwise there would be no oil separation.

Didn’t even realize it was there until a couple hundred kms. Thank goodness for rust locking it in there.
