What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Mine usually looks great on the outside but the inside is usually a different story.

Just had my 5,000 initial Toyota service done and told the to go ahead and do the oil/filter change as well.

Changed the shift knob to the Tinkerer shift knob… is that technically a “knob job”?

How many miles did you get out of the first set?

 

Just ordered a set Didn’t even think of backup camera glare .

 

I had the dealer scrape up the paint on one of my wheels. They give the free oil change/rotations to the low man on the totem pole mechanic because there's no money in it. I know what happened- the kid that rotated it had trouble getting off a rear wheel (common problem with Tacoma drums sticking to wheels) so he hit the tire and it popped off face down on the floor. I do all my own maintenance now.

Awesome, cheap fix to a simple problem. Ordered some too.

 

I just ceramic coated mine. It made a world of difference in the shine, scratch resilience, and hydrophobia, as well as dramatically reduced/eliminated the imperfections you typically see in black paint. 10/10 would recommend for any color.
