I’m ditching the Derale in line fluid thermostat for an improved racing one. The Derale opens at 180, the IR opens at 145, full flow at 165. Will be perfect for my target temp of 170-175.

Also in other small additions, I’m swapping out the 15 row oil cooler for a 20 row, so I can slap some spal fans on it. Also adding an oil temp gauge for the Holley, as well as driver side bank o2 sensor. Holley only comes with one for the passenger bank.

Just have to try it and see, the factory signals are 0-12v but depending on where the threshold is in the module 0-5v may work

Doesn’t the waveform call for 5v?

It's 5v per division, each of the tick marks on the graph is a division.
You can see it more clearly on the waveform I posted in Post 1247
I'm not saying it won't work, I'm just saying it's not the same.

The lock sensor signal can be a square wave as well, it doesn't have to be a modified sine wave. 0-5v would probably work here

I guess I have a fundamental misunderstanding of how a scope works and what I thought I was looking at. lol. Now I don’t really understand or know what I’m looking at.

I told him it needs to be 12v and he’s asking for this info:

Give me peak amplitude values, duty cycle and time period of each waveform

Flushed the trans cooler with a garden hose and filled full of 99% isopropyl. Will let it sit like this for a while.

Swapped out the 15 row for a 20 row Setrab cooler with a set of spal’s on it. Gonna wire these up to be triggered by the Holley once my oil temperature sender is installed.

Andrew did another late night, got my new tune over to me. Reconfigured it for the 4L80E, setup oil temp sensor input, oil cooler fan output trigger, and AC shutdown @ WOT trigger, and configured my new O2 sensor for the passenger side bank. So both banks will be monitored now.
