Don't take this the wrong way but if you genuinely believe that then you guys should take a break for a while, because EVERYONE has issues. If you can't see it you need space to get perspective back. Once you see it, then you get back into the swing of things with your eyes open.

Love blinds us to the flaws in our partners. Way better to see the flaws and love them anyway or be able to work with them on it. Same goes for your flaws. We all have them.

dont read to far into things when im joking..
what im meaning is the issues related to bikes....ill also put this so you dont take it personally.. everyone has issues but working together is how things work well... it honestly gets annoying hearing about guys at work or others complaining every damn day about the person they are with...(easy solution dont be)
i never stated she was a perfect being that doesnt have issues but those issues will stay between me and her. i was meerly talking about bikes and how she doesnt care if i ride and wants to ride with me...

Solid day today in the moto world of ND4. Sold my pit bike I got for the buddies bday races (pictured here) for a 200$ profit in like 2 days listed. I could of held out longer for MAYBE more but I got a good deal on it to begin with that I figured id pass on the deal. I got it non running then proceeded to go through the ENTIRE bike, touching every nut n bolt, greased every pivot point, full carb n tank clean, oil change etc etc in classic ND4's OCD fashion.

Bike ran great. Sold it to two 18yr old dudes who split the cost who "didnt just wanna sit inside and be bored"... I was ABOUT that! Get out and have fun, so I showed em how to ride a fully manual moto for a bit and even went back and grabbed an old helmet I had laying around for them.

Its not not fully analog and would give me dirtbike vibes locally wile getting off my lazy ass n be active... produces 85nm of torque (65 ftlbs!) with 6.7in front 6.5rear suspension.... I need to sell my true analog pedal enduro mtb first though.... but this is so enticing.

I need something with a little more power than the R3. It will be going up for sale soon. I am going to be taking a pretty big hit on what I have into it and what someone would be willing to pay. Might take off the quick shifter and rear ohlines shock and sell separately. Probably be happy with 6k but that seems like a lot of money for an R3 but maybe someone will appreciate the mods.

I'd you have OEM parts to put back on in place of the fancy sought after aftermarket farkles do it.

Sold my Honda 919 for the same price i would of sold it with the ohlins rear shock on it. Instead took 30min cruising with a beer n a few wrenches to swap the stock shock in and sold the ohlins for 100$ more than I bought it for 7yrs prior with 15k more miles on it... To the tune of 1/5th the total sale price of the whole bike extra!

I started making a list in my head what I could remove and sell. I have 100% of all the stock parts (except the stock tune) which I could have reversed. The exhaust isn’t cheap and could easily sell that. I have all the stock body work but like the yellow better. I could sell all the stock body parts also.
Probably get more money back and lose less that way.
I have found a bike I want to look at. I want a 600cc sport bike. I have found a 2005 zx6r 636 forsale close to me. It’s a good year to have. Engines go for a long time if serviced on time. Handles well and has decent power. Not ZX10r power which was insane on the street and not slow like the R3 was on the track. It handled well but just lacked the pull out of corners and straight away speed wasn’t fun with much faster bikes wizzing by.

SV650 might also be up your alley. Twin, so lower rpm for torque, aka pull out of corners, without being a supersport

as someone who has been looking at small sportbikes 6k for an r3 is high.. i know it hurts to hear that but all the ones out here in good shape are around 4500 a few with super low miles are at 5k but its rare

Sv650s are a great platform with tons of aftermarket and documented OEM upgrades. Going to be a WAAAAY better power/torque delivery for street riding than a 600cc sport bike (tho the 636 was more street oriented vs an R6/Cbr600 etc) but the sv650 isn't going to have the top end hp of the i4s

I'm honestly shocked by the asking prices on the used 2019+ CB500X bikes. Not a ton for sale in the first place, but those that are have higher prices than I'd expect. Either they don't lose value much, or people are delusional and "know what they got" in a fairly basic commuter friendly ADV bike.

I get it. That is why returning it to stock and selling a few parts will hopefully get me to that 6k mark. Mine has 3000 miles . I am thinking of testing by listing it as it is now with all the mods. Then if I don’t sell I will pull it and return to stock and try again. I have time.

Can't hurt to list it as is. Maybe somebody will jump on it. If not, you pull parts and sell them separate.

Ya it sucks man but worth a shot to list it as is and see if it sells if not take parts off and try again.

Took the bike for a ride today and still got some trimming to do on the guards but was a fun short and cold ride haha.

Currently waiting on a dude to come and look and hopefully take this atv away from me! So let's hope it's gone later today

Just got home from an almost 200 mile ride. Little chilly and had to crank up the heated liner a bit. 42 degrees when I left and never got above 44 the whole ride. I think I only saw 4 or 5 other bikes out in almost 5 hours on the road. Talked with @FreshOldTaco right before I left and have a plan to meet him next Friday for lunch and work on our ride plan for an Iron Butt ride around PA.
