Someone needs to go through and create a thread of F.A.Q. for the 5100's and sticky that shit. The search returns WAY too many threads. I've read through what feels like 500 different 5100 threads today and can't seem to find a straight answer. I've got a couple of questions regarding the 5100's. So here's my questions:

    1. With an Access Cab, if you set the 5100's to 1.75, does that level the truck out? If not, is an AAL required (or other rear lift options)? If the AAL or rear lift is required, what size? 1.5"? 2"?

    2. Can you set the 5100's at 2.5" on stock coils? This is a question that I see a lot, but 50% say you can and 50% say no. So which is it?

Thanks for the assistance. If I ever get time I'll try to put together a F.A.Q. for the 5100's.

I'm level with 1.75 up front, tsb rear (1").

When I had the billy's at 1.75 with stock rear, I was nose high.

You can find some pics in my build.

Cool. At 1.75" how much higher was the front? It's hard to really see it in the pics. Would a 1.5" AAL level it out or would the rear be higher at that point?

I acutally don't have any pics of the truck with 1.75" front and stock rear.

The rear will be a little higher with the 1.5" AAL. This is a shot with 1" in the rear.

Sweet. I think I'll go 1.75 and a 1.5 AAL. I originally was planning for a full 3" lift, but after installing my new wheels/tires, it lifted it roughly 1" and it amazes me how much 1" is noticeable when getting in and out of the truck. So another 1.75" I think will be plenty. Thanks for the assist. You've been a huge help on my past couple of threads!

Word. I really do need to stop in there. Lately I've been so busy I usually just hit the 2nd gen, group buys and buy/sell and leave. LOL! I'll add it to my list.
