I got my stock size Falken Rubitreks installed. The tires look very good IMO.

I was locked on getting the Kenda Klever but I am glad I waited and saw a good deal on Falken's. I almost bought the Wildpeak AT3W's but the youtube video I saw mentioned that the Rubitreks may run smoother on the road because of the closer gaps between tire threads.

I drove the truck for about 25 miles and mpg reading was from 18.1mpg then it went up and locked on 18.4mpg (how to make this higher like in the 20's?). The ride is very smooth on highways, it is quiet which I was aiming for. It is probably just me but I noticed the rolling resistance is less, I let go of the gas and the truck keeps just rolling at a longer distance compared to my old Firestone Destination LE2 but like what I said that it is probably just me because I did not really do extensive testing.

My next mod is probably the raptor lights.

What’s the difference between those & AT’s. I’m kinda new to Falken tires :notsure:

Got a quote on these^^^ but not sure which way to go. This is what I get for getting dedicated Snows for the first time.

I like the tires and your truck. Are those P-series or LT rated tires? How much do they weigh?

You'll have to drive much more than 25 miles to get an accurate MPG. I run 38 psi to squeak out a bit better fuel mileage. I also like the ride and handling with higher tire pressure.

Those are Wildpeak HT or HT2’s is what the tire shop says.

I think the rubitreks have a slightly tighter gap between the tread blocks than the at3w and at4w making them a little better on road

Why? Why?:annoyed: I mean to each his own but I don't understand why we are following Ford trends when they make the worst quality vehicle on earth.

Love the Rubitreks though. Wish they had them in pizza cutters.

Thank you. The website states that the tire is compatible with Light Truck, All Terrain and weighs 45.76lbs.

Thanks for the suggestion about the 38psi.

Those HT's are all season tires for highway terrain just like the old tires that I replaced.

Funny about the Raptor Lights comment.

Im not looking at Falkens…more like BFGs when the time comes to get new tires.

Go with what you like…it’s your truck.

Thank you for the feedback. I am new to modifying my trucks :D. I am into cars and I still am. I thought those raptor lights were cool on our truck but because of your comment I am now thinking twice if I really should get the raptor lights :D

Raptor lights are fine as long as you like them. They are way overdone though.

The Rubitreks have different patten of threads in the middle and thread gaps are closer on the Wildpeak.

A couple of points. First if you want accurate mpg figures don’t rely on electronic sensors. The can be notoriously inaccurate. And 25 miles is not enough. Fill your tank, drive until you are down to about a quarter tank. Fill your tank and divide the number of gallons it took to fill the tank into the total miles driven. Now you have accurate mpg.

Forget the lights. The lights you have are just fine. I don’t get why so many people want to spend the $$$ to change out their lights. My experience is many many people have lots of problems with the new lights they change too.

Finally absolutely no reason to get a new matching spare. What ever you have is just fine. A spare is just temporary until you get your tire repaired or replaced.
