My truck makes that noise. took it to the dealership under warranty and they said that they couldn't replicate the noise. Took a video and they said thta since I was doing 80MPH they can't replicate it because it's unsafe do drive at 80 MPH. I told them to drive 30 miles away the city to an area that's windy and it happens even going at 60MPH and they said NO. I guess the tacoma is only made for city driving and no windy areas. I decided putting up with the noise will be better than getting an ulcer. And just like that for the last 14 years I've been letting thing pass by and for people like me companies are getting away with these things, along the clear coat fail, the AC fan, the volume knob, the leak on the back window, the transmission hessitation, etc etc....

But why spend $3 for some rubbery stuff when you can get OEM rubbery stuff for $120?

FWIW all, I actually got a dealer (not the first one) to replace the driver seal with their "modified" one a few years ago. A few weeks ago, I noticed that the modified part was no longer there...

I don't often have uninvited kazoo/bottle sounds unless in a vicious cross wind at speed, but if I ever do again...I'm opting for good quality quarter inch irrigation line again. Dealer effort so not worth the time and effort.
