I am looking to add a suspension to my 2022 Tacoma Double Cab 2wd Limited that can carve corners on good performance tires. I need some directions as to where to go to find a suspension like this. I can't seem to find any. Thanks!

Not many go this route, but I can share my experience and what I would do.

    https://www.hellwigproducts.com/products/search-by-vehicle/?Year1=2022&Make=Toyota&Model=Tacoma

I'd put in the rear sway bar as a starting point, most trucks, except tacoma/tundra from this era have rear sway bars, which is anti roll, makes a massive difference on handling. Toyota makes a TRD kit for tundra, but the tacoma never got it.

Hellwig also offers a stiffer front sway bar, but you'd get less return on that.

Next I'd run Bilstein 5100's, they are not really performance rated for cornering, but behave better than stock in corners and degrade less with heat. They also prevent a lot of dive on hard braking.

Lastly, you have the best tire size, 18" so you just need a better road tire,

    Boom.

TLDR, Rear sway bar, 5100's, street truck tire 18"

Fox 2.0s set to zero would be good as well, but I have never run them stock.

A pickup truck is not a race car nor even a sports car. Can I recommend a mr2?

If you don’t like that answer, you’re going to want to look at lowering the center of gravity and replacing the solid axle leaf spring rear suspension with an independent coil spring rear suspension.

Maybe you could add a rear diffuser? If you do, make sure it’s steel instead of carbon fiber so that you don’t embarrass yourself on the rubicon.

This is no small feat. You have a lot of reading ahead of you.

What are the odds of 2nd gen 5 lug kits bolting up to a 3rd gen?

Also, sounds like you should've bought a Sport

Pour yourself a cold drink and study this thread:

This fellow built something similar to what you are interested in doing and documented everything very well.

Suspension, wheels and tires can make a pretty nice difference in the way a vehicle handles. My Tahoe PPV Tahoe handles better than that heavy pig ought to, and that's with "performance" all season tires on heavy steel wheels. The right parts can make a Tacoma hustle a lot better in the corners as long as you keep your expectations reasonable.

FWIW my sport on stock hitatchis and E rated stock size tires handled absolutely amazing in turns. Sport also has the thickest sway bar which helps with cornering.

I would recommend you test drive a stock 3G TRD sport :)

Guy I know let me drive his lowered E43 and I couldn’t wait to get back into my truck.
