There's also a member in Ohio with a set of Deaver Stage 2 with only a couple thousand miles on them. Price isn't bad, won't consider shipping. By the time I'd drive there, it would cost about the same for new shipped to my door.

Have to say that I really like my Deavers. I’d wait and save up for new or wait for BKF and buy his takeoffs, or play around with that free set from Mr. Grinder.

For sure. 63's is probably the only time I would consider it. Definitely was gearing towards a more cost effective option these days especially.

    Love my deavers as well.

To stay on the fringe of the spring discussion, I had Alcan make a custom set for my truck. One of the very best things I have done for it. Wasn't that expensive (or so I thought at the time) either.

Got weighed twice yesterday, scrap yard and landfill. Me in the seat and 1/8 tank of gas: 5640#. No f/r split, but that's OK, maybe I'll stop by my old employer and run across their single axle scales.

Swapped my 80's tail lights and bulbs from the previous owner's cheap, Chinese copies, in favor of a nice set from Taiwan. Everything is better, right down to the plastic.

Glad I did, too - some gnarly corrosion going on and less than stellar taping of the garbage LED circuit board.

Fun day spent with good people at Tigerton today.
    Limits pushed, lessons learned.
    Drove home!

The new skids definitely got used.
Particularly the transfer case skid covering the stock exhaust.
That hump got knocked several times.
I can see where the reroute w/b beneficial.

    Otherwise, No damage this time.

Title deviation post: good financial advice

Awesome work by @906taco welding up new spindle gussets, coil bucket gussets, and installing new uniballs in all the control arms, as well as installing those hydro bumps up front. He also powder coated the arms and they look great. Don’t mind my crusty-ass coilover making everything ugly lol

More than happy to work with anybody near or far! I know the Midwest is lacking on the support for these trucks. But I’m down for anything from mild to wild!

Come visit some time! Might even get a ride in the shop truck!

I mentioned yesterday that I had parts coming in for my old driveshaft...well...shit. Wrong center bearing, sending them back. Back to square one.

How do you like those Mickey Thompsons? I'll probably need to replace my MT's in a year or two, and those look really nice.

I really have no reason not to stick with the Yokohamas, but I seem to like trying new things.
