    I had not thought of that one bit. Very good point. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

    Good fog lights aimed properly should have no effect on oncoming traffic.
    If you leave the fog light switch off they will not be on when you switch to low beams from high. The headlights will go to low beam and the fog light will shut off.

    @memario1214

    I’ve bought 2 of these and one doesn’t seem to be working right. The first one from the first round purchase went on my 2016 Tacoma and works fine. It worked with the halogen headlights for the last few months and I just did a factory LED upgrade last weekend using a @daveeasa harness, and it still works great.

    The second one was bought in June and I just gave it to a buddy as a gift to put on his 2023 Tacoma with factory LED headlights. He can only get fogs and high beams to stay on when testing with the vehicle not running and ignition on. Has this been an issue for anyone before? Not sure if this unit is defective or what.

    First issue I have heard of tbh. So... If the vehicle is just running and at idle can you explain what does and doesn't function? We certainly want to get that cleaned up if there's an issue!

    I’ll have to go in person to see what’s going on so I can see if it’s the auto feature on the stalk or if selecting low beams manually and pushing the stalk for high beams isn’t working either. It’s a bone stock vehicle with no electrical mods so this is weird. I’ll get back to you when I have a more thorough functionality report to give. Something isn’t adding up if this is the only instance you’ve heard of!

    It "shouldn't" be as there is a plastic nub where the wires go in. You wouldn't be able to seat the relay back down properly. However, anything is indeed possible!

    I don’t know, I’m meeting up with him to get 1st hand answers at this point. I’ve asked a him few questions but I’m not getting detailed answers so I’ll take a look myself and report back.

    Cool product @memario1214, didn't know about this till just now. Impressive thinking, nice execution, makes sense, good price point too.

    Update:

    Short story: The anytime fog lights module was installed correctly and as it turns out, works fine on the 2023 truck.

    Long story: The TSS front camera functions weird with high beams because while driving you cant turn on the high beams at will. You can push the stalk forward for high beams but the front camera decides when no oncoming traffic is around and will turn them on or off when it wants to, so no manually engaging them. It works this way in “auto” or if you flip the headlights on manually on the stalk and push forward for high beams, the word “auto” comes on the dash so it ends up in auto mode either way you use them. I think that had something to do with him claiming they weren’t working except when parked and the vehicle off. He could get out of the car to see all the lights working at once, but while driving he wasn’t really aware of what was going on. I took everything off and popped the relays back in and the lights functioned exactly the same as far as how the high beams and “auto” setting works. Super weird that it’s designed that way but the anytime fog kit works as it should.

    I also learned that my buddy just leaves his high beams on and the stalk is set to auto, so he’s used to driving around the city at night with high beams on when no oncoming traffic is present. I don’t think he could tell when the fogs were off or on because of his high beams being used regularly at night, which were in turn disabling the fogs.

    Chalk it up to user error but nothing to see here :cheers:

    There should a button to disable to "automatic" feature of the "Auto High Beams"... at least my 23 Sport has one. "Auto" on the stalk turns my headlights on when it starts to get dark out.

    Does his model not have the switch on lower dash, left side of wheel to turn off the auto high beam function. I turned mine off the first week. Our 2016 Rav4 does not have the ability to turn it off unless you turn off Auto on the switch stalk.

    That makes sense there’s a switch to enable/ disable but I wasn’t made aware of it by him and didn’t know any better when I was there last night. I’ll ask him to check functionality with that button toggled off but at this point we know the all lights module is working. The auto feature on my 2016 doesn’t involve high beams and there’s no front camera, so his setup was unfamiliar to say the least! Thanks all for the help.

    Thanks man! You make me feel better about my flashlight/lighting addiction! Were you kept in a basement/cellar as a child? Also, do you think 56 flashlights are too many? Or not quite enough?
