007, have you ever thought about telling your wife to make more money? If i were you i would sit her down and say "honey, this isn't what i signed up for when i married you. You need to make more money or i will divorce you"

I'm planning on making my wife earn enough so i can live in luxury and never have to work again. Sometimes you just have to put your foot down 007, know what i mean?

You know ND, I've been where you say you want to be, the grass is not all that green over there. Before I met my wife, I dated a woman who out earned me 2 to 1. She suggested that I quit my job and stay at home and be a house spouse. That lasted all of a week before I was out of there, wanting to know how I spent my day, why the grass wasn't cut (It was raining all Fing day) etc. It was not worth it, I'll stick to working so I have money I can spend on what I want when I want, and I'll keep my current wife who supports my Tacoma obsession even if she doesn't fully understand the reasons behind everything I done and plan to do to the truck.

Just think about it for a minute, if she makes all the money you'll have to ask for an allowance, and permission to mod your truck.

007, my exhaust work was cheap, called the poor man's special lol... cost me 20 bucks to have the rear 2 catalytic converters taken off and replaced with 2-1/2" piping, then chopped off the stock exhaust right by the trans, threw on a 12" long glasspack tube and stuck the exhaust out the passenger side right before the rear wheel with a stainless tip. now granted, i only pay for materials where i go cuz it's owned by a family friend, but i spent $80 total and the stainless tip was $50 of it lol...you may call me master chief of bargain shopping :D

hopefully this weekend i'll get a chance to take some decent pics of my taco (the white one not the one that thinks outside the buns) and maybe a video of a burnout as i do many of them and the tires are showing it lol...can we post videos or sound clips on here? my truck sounds almost exactly like a tacoma built into trophy truck with open exhaust, which is actually what i'll be doing to it eventually anyway but anywho i'd love to show everyone what these things sound like with an exhaust that consists of next to nothing, and i'll post pics of it on a lift too. i did have a 40 series 2 chamber flowmaster on it before the glasspack but it sounded too tinny like a coffee can so i hacked it back off....so let me know where i can put up those sound clips otherwise i'll just put them on my myspace and link you to them

Yeah, my mother makes all the money, and she is always pissed at my father for being lazy... I like being the bread winner. I just wish I could spend the dough before my wife does.

Yeah, I drive too many highway miles for a loud exhaust. I had one on my Suburban, and it was like rocking a baby to sleep.

Also, I leave for work at 4AM in a very quiet neighborhood. I get along great with my neighbors, and I would like to keep it that way.

I am looking for something that has a good tone and good flow, but isn't loud.

Of course, none of this matters as I won't be able to afford it for a long time.

Ok, I mis-understood, I get how it works now. Good plan. I'm gonna go pitch that one to my better half. I'll let you know how it went after I get out of the hospital bed that I am sure she will put me in. :)

Yeah, the theory is great, and I'm sure the theory is backed by good solid science. I'm curious about a real world test though. I'll be interested to hear the results.

Toyota I believe uses a 12 hole injector as apposed to having less holes in the injector in some other trucks. This also helps with the air fuel mixtuure. The concept makes sense for a beter mixture of air to fuel.

Anytime you can create a larger surface area in the fuel be it wood in a fireplace or particals of fuel the more surface area the better combustion.
