I have an 2021 TRD Sport with standard halogen headlights. Will the OEM LED headlights connect to the wiring that I presently have? LED lights were an option that year if you could find them.
I ran through a tree this morning on the way to work, go figure. Running low beams and fogs due to conditions.
Various plastic parts, fender and one headlight at least were damaged. So, if LEDs will fit and connect up and are available. I am willing to pay the difference to get them. I was told they are better than standard lights.

@Puppypunter sells the wiring harness, @daveeasa sells harnesses for TRD Offroad to LED.

Now I bow out and let those experts (who have been alerted) chime in.

(Puppypunter ... I have referred enough people to you to earn that "kickback" you promised :boink:)

Do it, no question, but they aren’t cheap. Buy from a reputable dealer. Inspect for broken tabs promptly

you need a harness or cut and crimp. The harness is massively more cost effective time-wise.

tons of options for buying the harness, mine is more of a “premium” and my specialty is integrated grille light feed which can also be sent to backlight on fog pods from Diode dynamics with one additional harness.

I upgraded my 2020 Sport to full LED and it is worth it to me. I purchased the FBC harness adapter and purchased OEM LED headlights from a Toyota dealer during one of their holiday 20 - 30% off sales with free shipping.

It was expensive and 2-3 times the cost of getting the truck with them already (I think it was a $500 option when purchased new with the truck), but worth it to me. the light output at night is so much better and the LED light is clearer. It really lights up at night and makes it easier to see.

The FBC harness is plug and play and not hard to install and no issues for over 3 years...

Labor day is coming up, i would be on the lookout for holiday sales if i were shopping for them now.

You will not regret it and in my opinion they should be standard on all models from the factory.

I have the exact year/model as you but in Midnight Black.

At the time, the OEM upgrade was $480; I did not ask for them prior to delivery.

I bought Dave Easa harness and the OEM LEDs from Sparks Toyota and did the install myself…best upgrade so far!!!

I paid once and cried once and all is well now. lol

OP, you could also snip the original connectors and crimp the missing proper connector.

Need help with the OEM LED Headlights (81150-04290, 81110-04290) these are the 2 #s I see in most posting. Sparks Parts has them labeled has sequential turn. My body shop checked with their supplier and said there is a non-sequential turn and sequential turn LED Headlights . The part #s I supplied him were (81150-04290, 81110-04290) he told me these show to be non-sequential. The sequential turn are different numbers and about $60+ more per side.
My body shop guy is willing to swap out the halogen with the LED headlights and try the adapter cables.
I thought there was only a TRD Pro version led headlight, and these (81150-04290, 81110-04290), so is there a third?

Dave, will your adapter work with either turn lights? Is the sequential turn in the headlight unit itself ?

The product descriptions on these headlights are ridiculous and stupid.
They are the same, we call them pro and not pro. Pro has pro badging and no chrome. Not Pro has chrome but no pro badging. You can crack and convert pro to not pro by removing the "TRD" and "PRO" parts. You can also paint the Not Pro to cover the chrome but that also needs a bake & seal.

Buy them yourselves if at all possible, they should be close to the same price, Pro being slightly higher mostly.

Your body guy doesn't know anything special, he's reading and relaying info, you can find a ton of background and know way more than him if you read the megathread.

Functionally, both OEM LED headlights, pro and not pro, are identical and the turn signal flashes in reverse sequential (all on, then the C slowly dissolves).

    @2xline

Both pro and regular function the same with sequential turns. I opted for the pro versions, Dave's harness and some yellow ss3 max fogs. I would recommend that route.

    Cosmetic differences shown here...

Get the 7" long pair harness from Dave here...

    https://fbchs.square.site/product/t...light-conversion-harness/1?cs=true&cst=custom

If you want the TRD Pro LED headlights you'll want part numbers...
    81150-04300
    81110-04300

If you want the regular TRD OR/Sport LED headlights you'll want part numbers...

    81150-04290, 81110-04290

I just remembered the point of this in the first place. When down several rabbit holes. I have a plug / connector in the engine bay close to the drivers side headlight. It is capped off, and has about 6 wires in the back. Since there was an option for LED light could this be the LED connection? It could not be that easy.
