As long as you don't expect it to last or to be able to get parts, go for bad.

Go look up any of the one year plus reviews on CF moto SxS and you'll see that they break and are impossible to get parts for. I won't touch a china bike with a 10 foot pole. It's like the old soviet cars. No one wants them for a reason.

Ah, I didn't think about it being weather related. That makes sense. Bummer, but it's better to be safe.

Flat it was not. Plenty uphill and then the downhills were a lot of fun

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
40 mile ride out , then back, with the wife on back. We went to the book store. She had some kids books she wanted to give as gifts.

We have some nice back roads in our area. And they are resurfacing one of my favorites.

    I will be back!

but I need new front rubber .... oh! the agony ;-)

Played golf (I suck) then came home to continue work on the GSXR. I cleaned the chain, took off the rear wheel and cleaned it and the inside of the swing arm, took off the front sprocket cover and cleaned all the crap out of there. Did an oil and filter change, took off the air box and changed the spark plugs, you could tell the bike had been outside and was dirty but I have it mostly clean now. If I would have done a thorough inspection ( not sure exactly how without tearing the bike apart) I would have offered less money. Anyway it’s satisfying to say that I have taken it apart and detailed it. All I have left is the front wheel to remove and clean it up, calipers rotors ect. I did end up having to order the upper side piece ( called the air duct cover) because my plastic welding didn’t hold and they broke right off. It’s fine for now. I am hoping to get it all done tomorrow and go for a ride Saturday.

just a couple of things tbh
After the gym I went and got some bits for the klx! Just some simple open hand guards to try them out and see how I feel about it. Also got an hour meter since mine didn't come with one. Took a couple pics of it outside and slapped my old moose handle bar pad on the bars. I wanted to buy some fat bars but they raised the price in the store I got to .... I stead of 75 they want 150 there so that's fun!

Run the bars you have till they bend. You'll need new clamps for fat bars unless kawi has a removable insert or something

so i actually have new clamps lol. back when i installed fat bars on my old klx i bought the wrong adapters for it since the s model on the drz is formed into the tripple tree not one you can unbolt like the klx and most other modern bikes. welll i was to lazy to return them for my 40 bucks back so i still have them in my garage lol.

As long as the DH was good I can suffer the odd climb. Tree cover / area looked good too so that helps. I only just took my bicycle off the stand and put new tires and sealant in, haven't even rode around the block yet this season, and we have a mini DH park 5 mins from the house.

I did do this moto related today.

8 in riser bar for my rack. Came in from Australia.

Anyone have storage ideas? When it was a straight bar I just stored it upright in my old bumper (modified into a stand) behind the bicycle. It's too top/front heavy for that now.

I prefer mounting to the wall where I can pull it out easily vs trying to lift it.

It is. I have no room.

That firebird needs put back on the ground and rolled outside so I can actually have space. Then add in the few random yard stuff (weed eater/leaf blower) and kids toys there isn't any room.

    That wall is all moto/bicycle

The wall to the left is my workbench and tools, opposite wall has the interior door, spray paint/fluid cabinet, toys, welder, generator.

i do get that but i feel unless you mount something truly to the wall thats prob not gonna happen so figured hanging would be best.

    sounds like my garage lol

okay now it realllly sounds like my garage lol i have my civic torn apart all over the garage! i really gotta try and get it together for my buddys car show he is hosting at the end of the month but i have so much to do in so little time! i dont think ill get it done....

ya thats packed haha idk if i have a full pic of my garage atm tbh
    [IMG]
this is the bikes side but the engine has sense been moved behind the car same with the hoist. the bolt sits on that rug while both dirtbikes are towards the front. i need to get rid of a shelf and move it else where so i can setup my air compressor... just keep forgetting to or get busy!

thats very incorrect on the cf moto vehicles... loads of dealers around me carry parts and get them faster then kawasaki and honda... also know a few people with the 450s from cf moto and one guy has 20k miles on his and loves it so that is not accurate that they break down all the time and are impossible to get parts for...
