    I'd be aaaaalllllll over that!!

My GF isn't very excitable, and at a campground a year or so ago, she dragged me down a branch she'd been on on her bike to point at one of these and announced "I WANT THAT!"

    Please, buy it.

If it were me, I'd get a 250 and do what Sacrifice is doing on his VW. Less anxiety when driving. Lots whoop'd at the destination.

haha sounds about right tbh! i think if i lived in an area where i didnt need 4x4 i would be happy with a 2wd truck slammed since it would still do what i need

so ive looked at those sunray campers and like them but they are poorly built... so decided against them sadly... the prices and what they are was good but the quality just isnt there...

how much are those little scamps running these days? plus its a goosneck right? how the hell are they hooking that up? id imagine drilling through the bed to mount on the frame right?

I grew up in New England. Lots of snow. Not a flat or straight road to be found. My Dad, gone now, used to scoff at all the 4x4 'nonsense', said he could do anything they could do with a V8 and posi...."just more stuff to break!" Think a kinder gentler Archie Bunker that looked and sounded like Bill Burr. Man, am I dating myself or what.

Don't know if that's true but he always made it home. Towed a lot, too.

Of course the thought of taking a truck on anything called a 'trail' was sacrilege too...

ya ive always heard people do stuff like that with 2wds and with good tires and some weight you can get a lot of places but with any chance of snow i want 4wd why work harder to get to the same location?
why is it you got more shit then me and dont squat as much ugh. well i think you have different leafs if i remember right lol
ah no lie thats pricey for an old one... anything from the early 2000s should be 4k tbh since old campers are a massive bitch to keep nice! we use to have a 98 jayco and it was a great camper but over time well time happened lol

its a great little setup with good room thou but the issue is n room for bikes so sadly wouldnt work for my needs.

also was just looking in that thread lol

That and if you ride mostly street you aren't as concerned by wear. I usually put fresh tires on before events because it's cheap and having maximum traction is needed in the NE.

    Dobinsons HD leafs from @Crikeymike

Those are full fiberglass trailers, so pretty easy to keep up.

If the rear can really hold 500lbs.....I could just put my carrier back there and take the bike with me :D

they’re SW MOTECH and from what i can tell are blaze high mount bags. This is the closest i can find still for sale, looks like they discontinued the line in 2021.

Damn. they could just sell the 'stand off's' and I'd be all over that. I like soft bags, have several, and those bars would be awesome.

ah ya i figured you had leafs lol i got oem!

oh i know lol but tbh the cost is still to high... 8k for an old af trailer is kinda nuts! they use to be 4k and less years ago!

true but ill need at least to be able to hold two bikes at the minimum and if we wanted to take the bolt it would be out of the question lol. i think my best bet is buying a 6x12 enclosed trailer and building what i want

Covid turned the camping industry...well...into way more of an industry. Everything is different in that lane.

What tires are you running? Usually get 30-40 before I swap. Right now m59 up front and at81ex in the rear.
Yeah I have some spare parts. Mostly misc stuff but I do have a spare shock since I've had shocks blow seals twice now. I don't take an air compressor but sometimes the 1/4 impact or just hand tools.
