Are you spraying everything underneath or keeping it off the brake hoses, etc.?

 

Spray pretty much everything with light coat of fluid film except the suspension components and rubber parts like cv boots. On that i use Boeshield T-9 (less greasy - more waxy.) Doesn't attract dirt/dust as much as ff. https://boeshield.com/why-boeshield-2/

Few hours with the truck this weekend.

- Fog light anytime mod
- MAF sensor cleaned
- Throttlebody cleaned
- installed MBRP stainless catback

The foglight mod took all of five mins. On/off with the key, on with high beams….

MAF sensor and thottlebody were easy to do all at once.

The MBRP exhaust took a little over an hour - cut off old exhaust, shorten mid-pipe and she lined right up. Louder than I thought she was gonna be - wife is not a fan…

 

I’ve had my truck about 8 years…maybe I’m just bored lol! Most likely won’t be making a move anyways, I love my truck.

Rough Country seat covers, will do the fronts at some point today. They should have come black from factory. Reminds me of the 4th gen 4Runner Sport interior

 

Careful with that MBRP Exhaust. I had a "stainless" one and it rusted out completely after 3 years

 

i can get being bored tbh... i had a 13 tacoma that i bent the frame on and spent a lot of money fixing and in the end i sold it... when i came back to a tacoma i wanted another 2.5 gen truck but access cab and i love my little truck but tbh have been bored of it and wish i would have kept looking for a fjc over just settling with another tacoma even thou i like it a lot.

if you are bored of it go out and get a project car or something fun to rip around on while the truck sits and then come back to a truck you know and like instead of tbh throwing money away on a untested platform..


but at the end of the day you do you on what you want to do lol
