What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I’ve had my truck about 8 years…maybe I’m just bored lol! Most likely won’t be making a move anyways, I love my truck.

Rough Country seat covers, will do the fronts at some point today. They should have come black from factory. Reminds me of the 4th gen 4Runner Sport interior

 

Careful with that MBRP Exhaust. I had a "stainless" one and it rusted out completely after 3 years

 

i can get being bored tbh... i had a 13 tacoma that i bent the frame on and spent a lot of money fixing and in the end i sold it... when i came back to a tacoma i wanted another 2.5 gen truck but access cab and i love my little truck but tbh have been bored of it and wish i would have kept looking for a fjc over just settling with another tacoma even thou i like it a lot.

if you are bored of it go out and get a project car or something fun to rip around on while the truck sits and then come back to a truck you know and like instead of tbh throwing money away on a untested platform..


but at the end of the day you do you on what you want to do lol

 

Out of curiosity, priced a 6spd manual Supra…yeah payments are ridiculous. I’ll enjoy my payment free vehicle lol!

I have the factory TRD stainless exhaust on my 2012 and it's at 288k miles. Had to replace the gasket at one point because that wore out, but otherwise it's mint.

 

Lol ya, but that's comparing OEM quality to cheap chineseium

 

I really do miss winter but it is nice getting tons of free energy here in the south!

Did the auto window switch after work today.

 

I like the color. Best mod under $100 by far

 

Now I want it in my Tundra also.

 

Swapped out my front window buttons to be all automatic up and down. Makes life a lot easier. And a new apple car play touch screen head unit.

 

I didn’t know that was even possible!

Installed the Offroam mount to a generic MagSafe mount for iPhone so it’s really easy to take the phone off and on. Took a couple of tries because I thought everything used the standard 1” ball like RAM mounts but Offroam uses a 20mm ball and the MagSafe mount uses a 17mm ball.

 

Im not even mad because I love the concept. Plus I was able to get green which is my favorite color soooooooooooo............................. worth it for me

 

Didnt know i needed this switch until i bought em last year, one of my fav mods no doubt, toyota should've made this standard

 

Same, I saw it the first time and said... SOLD!... and it's been worth it. One of those stupid little mods that you enjoy each time you use it.
