Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Do you think that startup draw would be much higher than that? Or would that be startup and running being less?

I’d think replacing the boot is fine if the tear is recent and it’s not full of Arkansas river silt.

3 in lifts are bad. You should rectify that soon with the proper way to gain clearance. Which is portals, of course!

C’mon guys! This is disappointing I’m the first to mention this. Look at the thread title! :D

    Item description states 30A max.
I'm guessing an inline fuse is not a bad idea?

I would say it's a must, fuse or breaker.

I guess I didn't think about that much. Viair includes a 40A fuse, so maybe start-up is a little higher. :notsure:

30A @ 12V calculates to a little under 1/2 HP. But, I have to guess that it's a smaller motor than that.

The power cord includes a 40A inline fuse, so maybe oversize your fuse accordingly.

    I'll grab it in Bayfield.......
Haven't told the wife I'm going, yet. lol

I was checking out car audio wiring kits.
50' ea., power/ground, 8 or 10ga. with connectors and inline fuse for $30. They come with 40A

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I prefer the option with no fires.

I do like your distribution block comment.
Should drop one in while I'm at it......room for expansion.

While you are at it, you should also put in a blue sea panel with usb, 12v and a volt meter.

I have to talk more online than in person because when all of you get together around a fire ring I can't get in more than a "yep" or a "huh-huh".

Cig lighters only have like a 15A fuse. You can go up to 20 buuuutttt..... I wouldn't go higher. (Or is it 10-15? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Seems to be a part-time around these parts) :playball:
