its a problem with the finish. only thing to do is have them redone (sandblasted and powder coated or polished)

Yeah I'm originally from VA, but I now live on the eastern shore of MD where they dump sand and salt if there is a chance of flurries...my frame looks pretty awful too...I try and get the underbody wash done from time to time...are there shops out there that will actually sand down the and treat it for rust kill/prevention?

I had 3 of them that started bubbling while I was still under warrantee (2 years, 18K miles). Toyota replaced them free under warrantee.

Bug deflecter, vent shades, Airaid Intake, Pop 'n lock, replaced chrome bumper with black bumper, replaced chrome grille surround with a black grille surround, blacked out logo in the front, debadged, center console lock, grom audio mp3/ipod,weathertech digital liners
samething happened to me so I used the stock ones now for my winter month wheels and got a different set for the spring/summer months.

That sucks. I was at the dealer and a used truck was on the lot with the same thing.
