    Please be careful.

    Many businesses don't want pics of the manufacturing area released to the wild.

    We did a hazmat( yep not only do I go in fires I also am on the hazmat team:anonymous::bananadead:)walk tru of a plant. Had to sign the non disclosure and no phones out.
    We were at another walk thru the other day and a contractor came out raising hell about his floor and we asked what happened he stated some one walked on his glue. Well we didn’t think nothing about it because who would be that dull to step in a room of wet flooring glue, well it was a member on our ladder truck from a different station that did :jpow: and then he started walking around with the glue sticking sound to every thing.
    I don’t under stand some people :frusty::facepalm:

    Yes that's why I just got a few. They are very proud of that $24mil. I can't believe how easy going my department is. It's all older guys with the exception of 2 or 3 we're all in our 50's and 60's.
    Today I banded coils to pallets and wrapped in plastic and taped down loose ends of coils. Pretty mundane busy work. Guess I'll go back tomorrow.

    I was responsible at some level for just about everything in the building :goingcrazy: except the day to day production, shipping department & handling of the employees -
    - for the last I felt blessed. :D

    Sometimes I envied the folks who did pretty mundane busy work. :laugh:

    time for a new poll? lol

    a family in our friends group, when he was much younger(about 20 years ago), their son jumped/fell off a swing doing things boys do. he went to his mom(a nurse specializing in wound care) saying what he did what he shouldn't have been doing on the swings, hit the ground, and how his arm hurts now.

    she said it was stupid, brush it off. it'll be better later.

    after 2 weeks, he's still whining about it, so they finally cave and set up a doctor appointment to appease him. but angry that they're going to need to drop the money on an appointment for a sore arm that will amount to 'ice it and it'll feel better'.

    turns out his arm was broken in two places. the conversation that happened afterwards with the staff was a whole lot less pleasant!(bringing a young boy into a hospital for an x-ray of a 2-week old broken arm--lots of suspicion of child abuse)

    he still gives them grief over it.

    For some reason, if you work for a specialty chemical company, they frown on photos also!

    Oh man, sorry that happened to him. Don’t beat yourself up, it’s not like you told him to rub some dirt on it..

    The specialist will fix him up good and he’s young. The young heal as fast as bamboo grows :thumbsup:

    Now that I'm working again it's a lot to keep caught up on the post's. I gotta figure out how to get in with the shop guys. I need to figure out a way to carry the banding gun and cut up cardboard on the banding cart for easy access. I'll get it it's just will they help me out?
