Just had Eibach suspension put on my taco, along with new Deaver Stage 4 (yes, you read that right) leaf springs. Totally different ride.

I also got some Toyo Open Country Open Country R/T Trail tires put on with Black Rhino wheels. Looks and feels like a completely different truck...

    I like the "Switchback".

Going back and forth with that one and the DB/SE.

You can't put a rack system on the Switchback...and I really like the utility of the Yakima system.

Went up to northern NM and got to explore and stretch the tacos legs a bit. A great way to spend my birthday!

The fender trim looks really nice. That’s the part that scares me the most. Do you think a CMR is a must or a deep CMC would work with 35s? I have 33s now with close to a -10 offset. I cut and hammered to get no rub while actually off roading but didn’t need a CMC. I know it’s a lot more work with 35s. I was looking at a -25 wheel when going with 35s. Thanks for your input and great looking AZ truck.

For the price, the Ultra Power kit isn’t bad.

As for mileage, the pulleys could go another 50k km, or start squealing next week. Either way, I would just replace all four now. When they go, they can go quick.

If you’re the DIY type and have a press, you could order the just the bearings and replace them, keeping your existing pulleys. This is a screen grab from the Gates kit: 6203 bearings.

Otherwise, I would go with the kit.

H9 low beam swap. Definitely worth the few minute hassle of snipping the top rib of the connector on the bulb. Honestly surprised at how much brighter they are vs the factory osram h11’s.

Installed Boomers (Oostroma’s)"faux" TRD Pro shift knob with dual color option.

Tied Red option to security signal. Tied Blue option to dimmable dash lights.

Outstanding support by Boomer! Will post additional install tips on the relevant thread…

Thanks!, I did that in my driveway. Measure eleventeen times, cut once, ha. I did the CMR for two reasons. 1, I guess I was still rubbing on the cab mount, and 2, I broke the welds on my original CMC. After the CMR and pinch weld, I clear everything back there. With 33's I was only rubbing the top of the inside of my fenders. Can still see all the rub marks. Going to do some massaging of that soon.

With 35's, I'm rubbing my JBA UCA's now. I've got a different pair on its way to see if I'll clear those though. Otherwise I might have to look into wheel spacers.

I’ll have to look for it whenever I swap these out for new ones. I didn’t look too hard so I just used on flush cutters on the bulbs. Only took a couple minutes to cut the plastic and install them.

eBay rear bumper had to drill the bolt holes out to center it. Also drilled 4 hole to add 4 extra bolts so hopefully it doesn’t rip off $370 all in
