    Three thoughts.

It would be great to wheel with you guys, to finally put a face to a name.

It is a minimum 3-4 hour drive to get to any centrally located area.

It does seem like we could pull this off with a little planning.

My personal preference would be a camping weekend, with the main wheeling events being on a Saturday. I know of a few guys that would be interested in doing Browns Camp/Tillamook SF. Not sure of when but late June thru Sptember is best for camping.

I hear there is something for everyone there. :D

We can split in little groups if the crowd gets too big and if that's what everyone wants.

    AAhhaha!! How about not!!!

Lol I've been on one of their runs before and it is NOT that fun. Maybe because it was a pre-runner friendly trail? Or maybe because they stopped a lot. :notsure:

When we did the Arizona Tacoma Owners Mob (almost 50 vehicles total) it was pretty cool but, also kind of a cluster fuck. We also had one roll over... so yea, while there's a cool factor to getting that many people together on an easy trail... honestly I usually have more fun with smaller groups of around 10 or less where we can pound hard and be more loose with what we want to do. With a ton of people, you kinda need a solid action plan and stick to it or people get restless, we hold up the trail, ect.

how about we judge interest for one set date. Say june 10th we arrive where ever, leave the 12th.

if we have more then say 10 trucks we camp out on the flats at sand lake. Less then 10 we go back to browns like last summer's meet. Either way ill be getting my camp out cooking on :D

and if theirs 10 exactly.....we'll flip a coin

Joe, that is kinda what I was thinking. Aren't there a number of easy and dificult trails at Browns?

Some like the easier stuff some are more hard core. Having a variety of trails means that everybody can do what they are comfortable with in terms of wheelin and we can then let the camping side of the event be where everybody gets together to share their war stories of the day.

Alright so after reading a crap ton of these posts it sounds like we just need to get a date and a location set so first off lets set a date then a location.

I want to get a poll started but not sure how to tie it to this post so any help would be appreciated.

How bout lets get a rough date set some time from the second weekend in May till the second weekend in June. (May13th- June12) What weekend works best for everyone for an overnighter trip and what location? Ill kinda take the bull by the horns and try to get something planned. This is my first planning of a trip so bare with me. I will start a thread named "OR/WA Meet" that way we dont blow this thread up with dates, so look it up and post your dates and locations that work best and I will keep track and let everyone know the progress. The final date and location will be posted on both threads April 29th. I think that the best two places to keep it simple are going to be browns camp or the dunes. The date and location with the most votes wins.

Lets get this going im excited to meet the locals!!

I think I'm good with chazjb's poll thread to base things off interest.
I don't know if the washington side has any more centralized options either? I think everyone is waiting on yacolt burn.

Yes, but it's easier to find the difficult.
Not many very easy, but after exposure most will want more of a challenge anyway. When I say easy, they could be handled in a non-prerunner 2WD with some careful lines.
Moderate has three well known main trails, but there's some closer to Jordan's Creek that don't get explored much.
In all, we can send different groups with different schedules.
If we were organized enough and got the numbers in quick, we could technically have people assigned to a trail leader/group, but that's some mad planning. Might have to wing it and see.

    Agreed

The 16th changed on me again, so yeah I could do that. I need some other food though, lol.
