3rd gen is done ish. Some finishing touches to do, and a jig to build. She’s an odd one, the passenger side gave me a single option to achieve necessary length. I do have some reflective heat sleeve on the way for the hose as it is within 1”. Probably fine without but I’m not chancing it.

The mid pipes are substantially larger than the 2nd gen’s and do allow more than sufficient room to add a resonator for those that want to tame it down with a straight through like carven or MBRP.

Curious to get his feedback on what the gains feel like.

I’m likely willing to ship to Canada. However it will likely have to be an off website purchase. I’ve honestly never dealt with it before so I want to research before I give a hard yes.

 

Will have a 2nd gen Y with 2.5” midpipe ready to roll out early next week. If you want to claim it, let me know!

As far as 3rd gen release goes. I am waiting for some more miles to be logged before the release. Plan for pricing in line with the 2nd gen with the mid pipe being more in the realm of 250$ as they are significantly larger. I will be looking for 10 committed before doing a run.

@Boltripper to confirm, for those of us with OTT tunes (MTT with Maggy here), we'd need another updated tune to accommodate the missing bits to avoid CEL, right? Is that something that would be available, given your carb work recently? I assume a waiver would be in order?

@906taco I have a 3rd Gen MTT with Maggy, and I am here in MI. I'm interested as well, as long as I could get it to play nicely with my OTT tune and not pop CEL's.

Who, me? My question is correct and relevant. Downpipe cats are being eliminated, so those of us that have custom tunes may need to have the eliminated cat's accounted for so we don't get check engine light.

 

Yes it will!

No CEL should occur as down stream of the secondary cats is not monitored. Tune or no tune. It won’t make a difference.
