That's the best way for me. Clear vision, and there if you need them and no misplacing or losing.

 

Took my mom and daughter on the road trip up 395 to Lone Pine today. Checked the area out, went to the Museum of Western Film History. We’ll definitely be back for a more in-depth visit. And some hikes in Red Rock Canyon State Park.

If you didn't drive through Alabama Hills on the self guided tour, you should. Landscape where they have filmed a bunch of movies. Proper roads for our truck. .

 

That’s the plan for the next time we come up. I pulled my back and still recovering, so paved roads only for me right now.

 

New oem bushings on drivers side LCA, as well as new bushing on lower front shock. 65990 miles. Ball joint is solid. Pics of old, and new. Much less road bumps transferred to steering wheel now. Passenger side saved for another day.

LCA, and lower shock bolt, finger tightened while on jack, properly tightened with full weight of truck on the ground.



Front LCA bulging out of weep hole, and distorted. My guess, last alignment allowed the positioning washers to jump out of position.



Finished up right side LCA bushings and lower shock bushing replacement. Getting cleaned up and will take the first drive. I tell you, I can tell the difference just backing out the garage. Tight now, well, it's tight.

Just a note, the right side grew a nipple too out the weep hole. Didn't expect that from WhiteLine polyurethane bushings!!

 

Wheeled the pos on some lame trails. My pup had a good time though so that’s what counts.

Been dealing with moisture in my driver side OEM LED headlight. Popped the cover off of the bottom set up the leaf blower underneath. Successfully dried it out. Removed and cleaned the cover gasket and reinstalled. Later I did a rinse less wash on the truck and immediately saw moisture again. So there must be a bad seal around the lens. Anyone have experience resealing?

You sound a bit unhappy with the Taco.

 

Rotated the tires, have a look at this front going to rear today. Would you guys replace tires at this point, or wait some more miles? How many miles would you wait in this case?

 

I would replace them. But I live in the PNW and winter is coming. You live in Florida. I would probably give it a few more miles. Just me.
