That light is for the AFS (adaptive front lighting) there are sensors on the rear axle that tells the ECU what height the vehicle is at. They usually get seized.

    Is everything plugged in?

I bought this thing with a blown up engine, previous owner starved it of oil and broke a rod on cylinder 1 lol.

I bought a IAG 550 short block, rebuilt the heads, new garrett gt3071r ball bearing turbo, 1050 injectors, competition clutch stage 2, front mount intercooler.

It is high mileage so I also replaced all the suspension components and power steering rack.

And a full respray to Lexus Illusion Silver found on the LS500

Thats a good point, I taped off those plugs and pretty sure I threw those senors away with the gx chasis. If I get the center screen to stop flashing "check headlight" by getting the appropriate resistor soldered in then I'll probably just disable the auto level warning light in the cluster.

Not sure a resister will do it as the headlamp system uses CAN communication between the body computer and the cluster. Here's the wiring for a 2015 GX headlamp system.

I think it is possible because I have seen people install aftermarket headlights and they would get this message. GX Bob on youtube had to plug in some kind of mystery module in line with his headlight to get the message to disappear. It can't be that complicated.

What I am also excited about is to change out the driving support computer and get the crawl switch. This will allow me to have crawl control and multi terrain select. I am going to do that now while the dash looks like this.

Good idea because it will suck to add it later.

Here's the system description for the headlight system. Might help you with your warning lights.

    Hey Guys,

Today I hooked up a bottle of freon into the low pressure side, I was able to fill about 10oz. I pushed the AC button and nothing. I also discovered I have a freon leak at the firewall where the tubes hook up to the ac evaporator. I suspect my issue is with the ACT signal voltage discrepancy. I'll be working on a solution to seal up the freon leak. What do you guys think about the ACT voltage issue?

Also can anyone explain to me why the tacoma lock sensor work be wired with the Magnet clutch relay and the GX460 is not. Is this going to be an issue for me?

I can't remember, are we using the Tacoma A/C Amplifier?

Idk about the GX but on the Tacoma the Lock Sensor gets power on Pin 3 from the same wire that goes to the compressor clutch, Pin 2 is Signal and Pin 1 is Ground.

The GX and Tacoma Lock Sensors look to generate different signals as well.

Yes, using tacoma AC amplifier. I am synthesizing the TW temp signal using a module that I bought from someone on here. I wired up the pressure switch directly to the AC amp. I thinking the discrepancy is at the ACT signal that the gx ecu is putting out and the tacoma ac amp is receiving.

Right now the truck does not attempt to idle up or lock the clutch.

On the bright side, the chasis stiffeners from the gx460 bolted up with minor modification.

    They look good!

Since it needs 12v maybe try powering up that pin through a test light and see what happens.

Will do, I am going to fix the leak first and then power the pin with 12v. And maybe I need to change the lock sensor on the GX compressor with the tacoma lock sensor?

I'd go through a test light just incase

The lock sensors I'm almost certain are different and won't interchange, you can try it and see if it's happy. If it isn't you may need to generate the lock and RPM signals as well like @Pittsy did on his LS swap build.

I put the plans for the module on that thread somewhere. The only caveat to my module, is that something else needs to be responsible for shutting down your AC system at WOT and if the engine overheats. My Holley was responsible for that, using some relays. This module is spoofing ECT, RPM, compressor lock, so if it did go WOT or overheat without the Holley controlling those aspects, it wouldn’t ever shut down. The stock AC controller still took care of turning the compressor on/off depending on temperature selected on HVAC controller, using the stock thermistors and stuff, and the stock AC button, which was nice. Literally worked like OEM and you’d be none the wiser unless you knew what I did.

Very Nice!! If hooking up 12v to ACT doesn't work with my method then I will be going this route. I thought about getting one of these Arduinos
but I didn't know how to write the code. Thanks man!

You’re welcome! Code should be in there somewhere. My thread is a nightmare lol.
