Those Geolanders look badass. Probably the only mud terrain tire that I would go to. Nice looking truck!

Bigly agree man. I shopped hard for a 33 for months, only one that was as light and seemed to not sound like you're flying a Cessna. Theyre surprisingly quiet and feel better than my Falkens - i had an out of round tire that would never balance

My brothers got some nasty hunt land in south Georgia so we'll see how they fair

i didnt think the touchscreen was until 2014 or 2105 but i could be wrong

also if you have the the regular mirror then you could flip it, as long as no wiring to it

Touchscreens were out in 2012 however Toyota played around with moving the backup cam screen from mirror to radio in those final model years and sort of deleted features with the mirror if I recall.

    that sounds accurate

i have to say the oem touchscreen in this thing seems legit, always grabs my local weather, traffic, bluetooth if i want, and this is coming from someone who never had a backup camera or anything like that. last ride was 21 year old 4runner, 2004 (loved it too) and why i got late model second gen instead of new pro4x, 3rd gen, 4th if i wanted to, i like the oldschool + a bit more bells, just had to find a clean one and lower miles. tried finding clean 1st gen but to no avail in MA

Black Friday Maintenance Edition haul came in today lol, saved almost $500 on OEM parts. Roughly 200k service for what's left on the taco and wife's lexus, and 100K for my mothers Rav4.

If you haven't already look into an aftermarket mirror riser. BirdDawg used to make one but I see their website is hosting some other stuff now. I'm tall and the riser was a great addition. the mirrors are laughably low compared to sitting position in these trucks.

Edit: First 2 pics in my post here are the BirdDawg riser but it essentially puts the mirror almost to the roof.

I know people have had the risers break windows I have been lucky so far and not had any issues but I also dont use the ram ball mount to hold anything nor hang anything from my mirror. Fingers crossed I dont ever have an issue cause I like the placement it gives the mirror.

Finished the 6 bolts vertical bolts for the 1320 stiffeners, the top bolt under the metal flange out of view was a lot of fun (blood at some point) , and I decided to extend breather since I had taillight off. Forgot shot of oem new valve but I went thru the bottom hole in taillight area so it was more vertical to better function. Threaded in frame rail and clipped up to a wire harness with slack above rear axle. i use a toothbrush style tool to clean what i could around breather union befor einstalling new union, with some teflon tape. had to light from rear hitch a bit for access with my stock ride height and spare under there

Fun in unheated garage in December after fluid film 3 weeks ago20241205_192832.jpg 20241205_192910.jpg 20241205_205900.jpg 20241205_205918.jpg
