2003 throttle controller not available from Toyota

Do you have a link to the throttle body you purchased? I am having this issue with my 2003 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner v6. Did I see that pumping the gas pedal while the engine was off helped you get through temporarily? That's what I've been doing. Thank you for your help.

 

Search P/N 22030-62020. You will not find a OEM Toyota part for this but it seems either the OEM parts were bought and being sold by 3rd parties, the OE sold off old stock, or Chinese aftermarket finally came through. In either case it works great. I was super skeptical but it works freaking great. Second day driving around it it drives better than the fucking $700 throttle body Toyota sold me years ago.

Did your throttle body have a cable or does it have the internal motor? Mine is a cable.

So no more issues with yours?

 

I'll try to see if this fixes my issue. Car went in to limp mode with codes P2121 & P2138. Love this forum!

The one with internal motor still has a cable. 2003-2004 will be ETCS. Electronic Throttle Control System
