I had a buddy sell his 95 tacoma for about that price. But his was a race proven truck.

If that is the truck I remember at the offroad expo about 2yrs ago its a VERY well built truck. I remember contacting richer for a cabcage like that truck and they quoted me around 4-5k just for the cab cage.

I remember when they used to play in there garage about a mile from my house.

The down fall to those mounts is it replaces just the bushing area. But the frame side of things is still very weak and will need to be reinforced. Then there is the top side of that mount which is a factory mount and that will need to be reinforced as well. I DESTROYED my motor mounts and had to build new ones.

Bonzen can make motor mounts as well. He has the Jig from ESB from what I understand. He quoted me a price so I know he can make them.

Yeah I think I saw that on TTORA. You had said you would make them but after actually making them it wouldnt be worth it. Thats why I didnt ask you lol. I planned on reinforcing the lower but thats the first I have heard about the upper part. I def wanna get a good set if bonzen wants to make a few

Yep, I made a jig but I screwed up somewhere in my measurements when making my frame side of the mounts. I looked about the same but didnt work like I thought. Dont know what I did but I made them work but not worth making them for others to have to fight installing them like I did. If I could have used good mounts to build my jigs off of I think it would have been fine.

If your mounts are not broken. I say reinforce the frame side then remove the factory mount purchase the trailgear mount to replace the bushing then plate in the other side of the factory mount where it hits the block.

Yeah everything I have is still fresh and un-beat. I am def getting everything buttoned up before I do anything more than just playing around. What do you think is thick enough for reinforcement plating on the upper and lower part? (and going to box the tranny mount too) Like 3/32"?

Not allot but more yes, going from stock to Engage lt is super wide, like no more drive thru's wide. Don't think you will like the extra width nor will the cops.
