Anything we ever permitted was pretty basic. I just did it in sketchup. Don’t feel like you have to get too crazy with permit apps.

If it’s DIY and you’re the one pulling the permit, you probably can use non-CAD plans. (Maybe call or stop in and talk to someone?) I remember back in the day submitting hand drawn plans in Grand County for a substantial addition without an issue.

Me neighbor built a detached garage and his permit submission was a drawing on graph paper. It was approved without issue.

With mild trepidation I took on the myths/superstitions surrounding Friday the 13th and flashed the Taco to OTT Mild/Medium.

    It's all Good! :D

Very nice! I went with CE tune. Had issues a few years ago with a tuned car that couldn’t get certified for emissions. They never even hooked up the tail pipe (not sure they do that anymore?) just said the engine was out of spec. I ended up sourcing an ECU from a junkyard and a buddy somehow got my VIN on it. Swapped back after I got the sticker but it was a PITA. Hopefully you’re not on the Front Range?

The tune is CARB EO D-833 compliant

Does anyone on here have access to a CNC machine? I have a .STEP file already and need a small part made. Willing to pay, of course, but was hoping to get it done cheaper than the quote I got on xometry.com.

It's basically just a mounting bracket for a bike rack that will attach to my bed rack system. Would need two of the brackets made.

I'm in Arvada, but would travel within reasonable distance.

Awesome! Guess I didn’t realize they could program Medium on a compliant tune, thought it was Lite and Mild only.

Took the old girl to work today (30 miles of highway) and I am very impressed. The truck drives remarkably well. I'll probably end up pulling out the extra spring that makes these the "HD" springs. The front is pretty dang stiff. There a bit of steering wheel play now with the steering box, not as bad as when I bought the truck with a worn out slip joint. The leafs shift around a lot and make quite the racket of clanks and bangs. I brought it over to front range drive line today to get the shaft built! Tomorrow the rear diff comes out for regear.

If anyone is on the fence about SASing their first gen... Just do it, it's not as hard as the forums make it out to be.
