I have a 2014 SR5 4x4 with silver interior accents and ran my VIN in partsouq.com. 5540504070 came up for that part indeed. Triple checked on all my sources so I would feel confident hunting that part number for your unique application on your X runner, @05TACOMAXRUNNER but, then again, this is the internet in 2025 so take it all with a grain of salt!

Nice... That's some good info!

I wish I looked more closely at mine for a part number stamp, swapped it with someone here for the matte black version.

I did too, but also wanted to ditch the 4x4 switch location when I did my manual tranny and transfer case swap so I had lots of part numbers floating around.

Lighted 4X4 switches did not come standard on a 2013. Did you add a lighted switch to your truck?

My unmodified black switch 84724-04030 does not light up. A little hard to tell but you can see the HVAC fan dial is lit.

You happen to have parts number handy for the non-4x4 switch one? Will be doing the same exact thing on my truck soon... need to also work on the center console setup as well...

Can anyone tell me if I would have a problem with spacing or anything if I left my 2011 HVAC control and Radio (aftermarket) bezel while installing a 12-15 (gen 2.5) black surrounding bezel? Yes I will get a black 4x4 switch too.

20250314_121839.jpg Whats good fellow modders? Need some assistance on unplugging the rear diff lock and power inverter plugs to remove my instrument panel trim. I've tried every which way to unplug them but to no avail so far. I was getting hangry and decided to take a break before I go full hulk mode and break something. What's the trick? Or am I just being a Sally?

Push the plug inward, then depress the tab, then pull out.
