Good idea. I have some old bike inner tube I use for random projects, I’ll just put some of that there.

Finally got my new to me wheels mounted with tires...thnx @K9tacoma...and swapped them out this morning. Gained just over an 1" in diameter, an additional 1" of poke and dropped 5lbs at each corner.

Noticed your fastrak. If you are in CA, they have small stickers that they will give you for free and it eliminates the box

Almost the same connector, there is a little green tab that needs to be removed from the harness. It took 2 seconds to pop it out with a box cutter

I swap it between two vehicles and I like being able to switch between 1-3 passengers for the carpool option, which gives you a discount.

Edit: I travel on I-15 a lot. Sometimes alone, sometimes with my boyfriend. If I have my transponder and select a carpool of 2 people, my express lane trip is free. If I had the sticker, it would charge me to use the express lane unless I email them to have them remove the charge, which is a pain.

I have ONLY used the key to open the door and tailgate. I do not own a fob. (Drvr side has the only door key hole, but two turns of the key unlocks pax side also.)

Picked up some guards for the BD ditch lights and threw in Desert Does It seat jackers. My only regret is not installing them day 1 of ownership. Truly a night and day difference in comfort.

ARP extended studs (not installed yet), Optima Red Top, Siless Insulation in cab. Diode Dynamics LEDs throughout... More titanium fasteners. K&N intake snorkus delete. Greddy hose clamps throughout. DBA 4000XS Brake Rotors. TRD PRO fogs. Dakine Tail Gate Pad. Body Armor Sliders. Icon Stage 4 Lift. Eibach 1" Lift Blocks. Overland Taylor Tune. Rough Country Spare Tire Bed Mount. 67 Designs stuff on the dash. Uniden Radar Detector Hardwired. Spod Lighting Controls. RC Black Series Bumper Lamps RC Black Series Grill Lamp. Body Armor Stealth Front Bumper. Extended Brake Lines. Greddy Shift Knob. More to come of course.
Decided to tackle the wiring for the fog lamps. I wire tucked as much as I could and found a fun way to run the wires through the frame/body openings that is safe against getting cuts worn into the wire. I added rubber grommets to all of the openings. Even managed to grommet a double walled opening I could only access with my fingers. I am pleased with the result. Though, they don't work as I think I shorted the output on the Spod when I tested the passenger side. (The driver's side wires were stripped and had coiled up and touched the frame/body. I'll troublshoot this weekend.

In the last few months, hit a milestone on a road trip, added some topo accents to the interior, got it tuned, upsized the front brakes and rotors using ones for a 5th gen 4runner and had the exhaust reroute done.

I got them from 1221Laser but I don't remember them being that much. You may be able to find some cheaper ones out there.

Did you notice any difference in road feel with the bigger 4R rotors and calipers? (Harsher ride or no difference.) TIA

No difference in the ride quality. I did notice an improvement in stopping distance. Certainly gained back what I lost after adding e-rated 33s, steel bumper and winch.

These two threads were very helpful in deciding what direction I ended up going in. Even though the 1st one references a 2nd gen, I can confirm it also works on the 3rd gen platform.
