I have the poly performance bushings up front only.
I swapped to those a few years ago after the OEM ones were so toast the whole from end of the truck would clap around.

I don’t have any recent photos, but this is how mine is set up:

If yall are going through all this effort, why not mount the radiator to the frame, then make a separate frame that makes the hood/fenders/lights all one piece that hinges forward?? Can't have a core support that's constantly ripping itself apart if you don't have a core support at all :notsure:

    Here to get some feelers.

How many would be interested in a SUA setup that could actually carry some weight with some dignity? I’m talking 4-600lb heavier than factory rear weight.

I’ve been tossing around an idea for the last several months and a conversation with a friend yesterday got my brain focused on this idea again.

That piece yours is bolted to at the body is pretty flimsy, so I am guessing yours has enough flex to keep it from destroying itself.

Exactly, I think that that piece is just weak enough to save the cab further back.
In hindsight, I’m glad it’s working out this way after seeing some others.

I’ll do something more permanent and beefy once it’s all caged, cab and engine.

Any preferred steering hub adaptors for our trucks? I've used PRP and NRG on my cars, boats, and k-truck. Liked both.

Is this an oem carrier bearing or something else? And does all this grease mean that is going bad and it needs to be replaced? The is not much play in it. IMG_9492.jpg IMG_9493.jpg

What ideas do you have in mind? A custom Deaver H70HD plus pack? I have not done JD's SUA setup yet. When I talked with Deaver about the H70HD pack they stated about a 500lb max. So, I was going to use that to force myself to stay below that including a 90-95lb spare. I want to keep the weight in check for a host of reasons. One to prevent the domino effect. More capacity, more weight, more stress, bigger brakes, bigger axle etc. etc.

I would not be using an H70 pack. And can confirm, I can’t even carry a 300cu/ft argon tank in my truck with HD’s without being on the bumps.

This is kind of an out of the box idea I have. But it originated from planning my wife’s build as her truck is our primary hunting truck and when we are fully loaded it’s in the 500lb range. if enough interest is present I’m down to at least give it a shot with production in mind.

Would it be more than a spring pack?

No it’s an IEDLS poly bearing for a ford ranger.
