I didn't think to just slide the new wiper in the OEM Wiper...they were a bit sun damaged...as is the wiper stem it attaches to.

But you are right, it's good to be able to do these fixes ourselves.

I wrote the Part Numbers in my owner's manual too...also...my CARFAX profile was updated by dealership so it's captured in there too!

This LED thread I've been replying to took a turn!

I wouldn't of believed it if I did not see it myself but the light pattern is different when a diode/LED is used on a non-diode/LED housing unit.

It may not be noticeable when you look at it from 25-35 feet but when it sheds a little light on a tree, that's reflection.

Front: 20 1/4"
Rear: 21 3/4

Ordered TRD Suspension Kit from dealership which will add 2" up front and 1" in the rear.

I've posted elsewhere but need to add pics here.

 

So, I posted on other threads about my plan for upgraded shocks...time to update here:

Ordered TRD Suspension Kit from Dealership that I've trusted for the past 2+ years; they will also be doing install.

Quote for Parts ordered: total $697.56 (last column)






I'm doing the TRD Suspension Kit which are the Bilstein Fronts/Rears Shocks for $395; Front Shocks set to 2".

For the Rears, the U-Bolts are pricey at $69.95 X 4 = $278.60

And the 1" Blocks are $11.98 X 2 = $23.96

Total is: $697.56

Delaware has no State Sales Tax which is Great!

I need to talk to the dealership (which I have trusted for 2+yrs) to confirm labor + alignment.

Service Department told me it's a 5hr job @ $209.99/hr which is roughly $1049.95 for labor.

$1,049.95 + $697.56 = $1,747.51 + alignment.

I'll be using my Bonus Check from work to pay for labor so this will be my 1 yr anniversary gift to me!

 

Update on my Suspension Kit:

Just got a call from Parts Department...Toyota cancelled the TRD Suspension Kit and said the shocks must be ordered individually...what?

Anyhow, new price for all 4 is over $1K.

I'm ordering just the front shocks for now for less than the price of complete set.

You should order the 5100..5110… whatever those are and have the dealer instal them. Or I guess see if they’ll instal so you can keep some of the warranty

 

Im ordering the fronts and having them install the 1” block on the rears.

Getting pricing on that right now.

 

The fronts are less than the price of full set: $395.

I can order & install rears separately since that’s a much easier install.

The 1” block will already be done and I could do another alignment afterwards.

 

I’d double check that the stock rear shocks can handle blocks. I’m not sure if they’re long enough to compensate.

Replacing both of these since the one on the right has gone dim. It's been 2 years since install.

 

I haven’t changed mine but I have light bar on bottom of tailgate. I have new one that will be placed there after that one is removed. Right now it’s too cold to do it. Waiting on warm day so I’ll have it replaced.
