I don't have a driveway to use, but I do have tools and hands available to help. Haven't done one in awhile, but they're easy to do if you get the bearing/hub pre-assembled.
This is a solid source to get them if you want OEM quality - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wheel-bearings-hubs-press-service-oe-nsk.537080/

Oh boy you must like suckfests!

Buy the assembled unit bearing with a KOYO or NSK bearing, trust me its not worth doing just the bearing by itself to save a few bucks and it's easy to fuck up if you dont press it in the right way.
I do this stuff for a living and even I use complete bearing units since the labor on swapping the bearing alone is more than the additional cost of a complete assembly.

    Just my .02~

Edit, looks like you are going that route, my speedreading comprehension needs some work!

@theolee My driveway is available Wed-Sun if you need it. I concur, pressed-in is the way to go now that they are abundant and priced low. I’ve replaced my bearings twice, pressing them myself. The last time was 8 years ago, pressed-in sets then were pricey and hard to find. I’ll PM you.

Thank you! Ill figure something out. I have a 12hp one I bought years ago that was homebuilt by a guy that vibrated itself into oblivion since he used too thin of a gauge to make it. I can rebuild that but I got so much other stuff to do I absolutely do not need any more "Projects" at the current time, lol.

Just trying to help, sometimes saving a few bucks can make you wish you hadn't. If you need any tips or tricks let me know, but its fairly straightforward when doing the entire unit bearing.

I just looked at that one and it doesnt specify what kind of bearing it uses, that would make me get one on Ebay with a known bearing but Im a bit picky when it comes to stuff like that.

Ebay has them for around the same cost with the good bearings in them, just an FYI for options.

Holy crap what happened!? Its 90 degrees here today, that's nucking futz!
Well I got a chipper from Amazon, its only a 7hp model but it works way better than I had thought so pretty stoked and can quit looking. Its insane how everyone with a used chipper thinks its worth $400-500 5 years later with a dirty carb that wont start and dull blades when new ones are around $500 shipped to your door.

It's almost like the used Diesel market, been looking a little bit for a couple years and they were cheaper when I started looking at them. Im assuming it's because the newer Diesels have absolutely skyrocketed in cost in the past few years but now used prices certainly reflect that!
Not trying to spend $40k on a used pickup truck, lol.

I'd like to get a Dodge with the 6.7 I-6 since they have less moving parts and seem to have a better reliability record than the Ford's V8, however I'm not a huge fan of the dated Dodge interior, the Fords look nicer inside IMO. Anybody know of any Diesel trucks for sale? Looking for a 4x4 3/4 or 1 ton chassis, hopefully one WITHOUT a tuner since those punish the hell out of the drivetrain and not looking to replace the drivetrain anytime soon..

Hope all you guys are doing well out there in SD area!

So a buddy an I installed some new morimoto xb headlights on my second gen. Wasn’t the easiest, but wasn’t the hardest. Ran into an issue with my arb single compressor though. It was mounted on a slee mount in between power steering reservoir and the windshield washer reservoir. The new headlight are a bit bigger and wasn’t able to fit with the compressor mounted, so had to pull it. Now I’m
Not too sure where else it can go. Anyone run into this issue or have any solutions of know of any other mounting solutions?
