I am looking to order full kit, But not sure if I want to go with the 314 spring, I have no added weight just the TRD Pro skid plate, all stock would the C59-350 - 1.5" to 1.75" with 200-240LBS, 2" with stock weight (heavy rate) be to much for my tacoma? Also with these 3 way adjustable shocks whats the difference then with a leaf pack or the 2inch blocks

Pretty much everyone goes with the C59-314 coils with stock weight. There's no reason to run a stronger spring rate unless you plan on adding more weight with a bumper and winch or heavy skid plates. It's like putting on shoes that are too big for you if you went with the heavy load springs and no weight.

It's the same shocks on the rear, no matter which lift method you go with. To keep the price down, you can use the blocks, or an AAL. Or to lift it properly and help hold up bed weight better, a full leaf pack is the best method.

Quick question, I have a DCSB with around 150lbs of constant weight in the bed, would the 111 leaf packs be appropriate or should I go with the 110? Thanks in advance.

The 110s will be enough for that weight. The 111s wouldn't be as compressed and would give more lift without the weight.

Any exitoffroad coupon codes available? I'm looking to order these:

    https://exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-pre-assembled-ims-tacoma-coilovers-2ndgen-3rdgen/

I am looking for coils that are close to OEM spring rate which should I go with?

As far as the coils, the amount of lift listed below would be with no preload correct? And if I wanted to gain a little more lift I can just crank up the preload?
    C59-296 - 15mm (1/2") lift, Stock front end, 378mm free height, 17mm wire, 586#
    C59-300 - 25mm (1.0") lift, Stock front end, 385mm free height, 17mm wire, 586#
    C59-302 - 40mm (1.6") lift, Stock front end, 395mm free height, 17mm wire, 586#

There aren't any further discounts on those.

All of those springs you listed are 586 lb rate, pretty close to OEM spring rate (edit: of the 2nd gens, 3rd gens are ~700lb rate). Yes, no preload.

EDIT: Gave the wrong info, stock spring rate on 3rd gens is closer to the 700lbs rate, so the C59-350, 352, 354 and 318 coils are more ideal for the 3rd Gens.

Thank you for the info I will be putting in my order!

what is the perch to perch height on these with zero preload?

If I understand correctly with the C59-314, with the shock purch at the lowest setting I would gain about 2" of lift correct? And if I went with C59-302 with the shock purch at the lowest setting I would gain about 1.5" of lift, but If I wanted to go a little higher I could just raise the purch and crank up the preload. Am I looking at this correctly?

Would it make any difference ride and performance wise it I went with the longer spring vs the shorter spring and added a little preload?

For the rear I will need probably 7" of lift. Alcan made the leaf pack for my second gen, do you guys sell 6" or 7" leaf packs?

Whoa, Mike you can confirm that the 3rd Gen stock spring rates are near 600 lbs? Thanks

My mistake, I just added this note above:

Standard coil seat height is 213mm, then the coils do the lifting. You can add preload to raise it up further, but don't want to go more than 1" of additional lift or risk coil binding.

Yes, 314's set to standard coil seat height give 2" of lift.

You want to run the tallest springs as possible with the least amount of preload for the best ride quality.

6 or 7"? Are you as high as what your truck wants to be? LOL. No one makes leaf springs that tall.

Great info Mike! Also, I can verify your comment on more and more preload on shorter springs because I have measured the space in between shorter coils on higher perch and longer coils on lowest perch. My bad for paying for multiple springs as I added weight, however I could see it with my eyes and measure it.

Thanks for all the help, I think I will go with the 314's. Only concern is the down travel. With the 314's how much down travel will I have left?

I put 4" spindle lifts on my 2nd gen and 3rd gen thats why i need the 6"-7" leaf packs. I guess I'll have to get Alcan to make a set for my 3rd gen.
