Airbag light been on for yrs, decided to take care of items on rig since getting old. Replaced clock spring since most post this is corporate of problem. Light still on, further searches show standard scan tools don't go deep enough to find or clear if all that's needed.... So does anyone have Toyota SRS scan tool?

Does disconnecting the battery do anything or does it store in the computer somehow? Maybe make the sensor have to re-check? Good luck!

 

Disconnect during changing. Today, disconnected again and rechecked good plug connections. Let run for a bit and drove around.

 

Anyone knows how or is an expert on fixing small engines? I have a Briggs and Stratton 3.5hp engine on a small log splitter and a Craftsman’s little rototiller I would like to have work and tuneup done.

 

Buy a tuneup kit and a new carb. That should be all you need. They are pretty easy to fix.

What sucks is truck theft is on the rise in the Bay Area. They were also talking about Ford tail light assemblies having various sensors in them and costing some insane amount--those are being snagged too.

How much are your guys trucks weighing? Google says stock v6 ext cab first gen is about 3500lb, stopped by the dump scale today in my "every day mode" and I'm sitting at 5000. 2660 for the front half 2340 in the rear half.

No wonder is slow as all heck

 

Mine is heavy as hell. weighed in at 6950# earlier this month on the way home from a camping trip. Need to re-weigh when i'm not packed out for a trip.
