Westcott isn't a bad solution but I definitely prefer an extended spring with the same spring rate (and made by the same company who produces the TRD Pro stock spring). Pre-loading springs, like the Westcott kit does, is a popular method that many adjustable coilovers use. You do risk a bit of premature wear with the stock spring when increasing pre-load and your ride will stiffen up. After installing the extended Eibach springs, I feel like the ride quality is the same if not a bit more plush. Especially since you have a 2017 Pro, you won't have any issues that some of the newer year models had. I have a 2017 pro as well so hit me up if you want any tips. One thing to note, if you're planning on doing the installation yourself, I'd highly recommend the on-truck method of decompressing the springs as opposed to using the sketchy off-the-shelf spring compressor. More information about this a few posts back (look at the video I linked): 2229

Awesome thread. A lot of great info. I can find myself getting sucked into so many mods mentioned in TW (tons of knowledge) - including the Eibach springs. I am currently running OEM TRD Pro Fox Suspension, no major problems but rebuild is in my future. Measuring 21.5” from hub center to fender. Running 255/85/16’s with no rubbing. I don’t see where I would be seeing any gains. Am I missing something?

You’ll see rubbing issues and benefits of the extended springs once you get to the 285/75/16 tire size. That’s what I’m running and the extended springs helped me avoid rubbing a bit. I had to do some minor plastic wheel weld molding with a heat gun as well. I think the 255s are thinner than 285s, right? Maybe why you’re not running much with the stock setup.

Anyone else get a slight clunk in the front end while making a slow turn. Happens when the front suspension slightly drops/dips during the turn. I have a '23 Pro.

Also, did you get the updated springs for the newer years? Apparently the original one's they released that didn't have the flat tops were causing noise/wear issues. They updated the springs which made the top of the spring flat and that apparently fixed the issue. If you have rounded spring tops, you most likely have the previous version which caused these types of issues. The only sound I get is from my quick disconnects as dfanonymous asked about.

I’ll have to go and have the dealer look at them. Here are some pictures. I can’t tell just by looking.

Check your CV boots, specially the outer, closer to the wheel hub.
Listen when the clunk happens while making a left or right turn:
When making a left turn, more load is on the right front.
Right turn, more load on the left front.

the dealer? Did you buy after market springs or are you stock and just asking about your pro having a clunk?
